The Warehouse Hotel was built in 1895 along the Singapore River as part of the Straits of Malacca trade route. At that time, the area was a hotbed of secret societies, underground activity, and liquor distilleries. Today, while much of that history has disappeared, The Warehouse Hotel has been meticulously restored as a modern 37-room independent hotel, focusing on heritage and local culture. Open as of 2017, The Warehouse Hotel delivers thoughtful hospitality with historically-detailed rooms, classic local dishes and craft cocktails in the vibrant neighborhood of Robertson Quay. The Warehouse Hotel is a member of the prestigious Design Hotels portfolio. The Warehouse Hotel is a cashless property. We accept Visa, Mastercard, Amex, JCB, UnionPay, GrabPay, PayLah & PayNow.

My experience with this amazing property, I would end up calling home for 22 days, began when I sent an email to their reservations team inquiring about availability. The response I received was more than pleasant and welcoming, so my co-workers and I booked our stay for 3 weeks this past August. During the time between booking our reservations and our stay, we were in contact with the Warehouse to ensure we were all set, and to ask general logistical questions. As with before, our questions were answered and our concerns were addressed. Fast forward to our stay... When we arrived at the Warehouse we were greeted and treated as if we were long time patrons in excellent standing. From the moment we walked in, to the moment we left, we were made to feel like family and friends. Now I get it, people in the hospitality business are supposed to be hospitable, but the people at the Warehouse were some of the most hospitable I have ever encountered in my nearly 20 years of global business travel. I travel a lot for work which keeps me away from loved one and friends. The people at the Warehouse hotel made being away from home not nearly as difficult as it could have been. Through the entire stay, I felt welcomed and appreciated. That feeling went a long way with me:-) Now to the food and drinks...WOW!!!! Po is an excellent restaurant. Although I didn't try everything, everything I tried was exquisite. My only regret is that I didn't eat there more often. As far as the bar goes, I was also impressed. The lounge area near the lobby is a very relaxing place to meetup, pre-game, or get a little inebriated. The mixologists at the Warehouse really know their craft. I had many of the cocktails on the menu, as well as some off menu tastings, and they were all professionally prepared and delicious. The hotel itself has a colorful history which is exemplified in just about every aspect of the property. The lobby has a small museum, for lack of a better term, displaying artifacts and some souvenirs that tell the unique history of the property. The rooms also have a feel of the properties exciting past, while still being modern, stylish, large, and very comfortable. I only went up to the pool once, but that too has a certain private yet public feel to it, as it looks right over the river, but remains unnoticed to the untrained eye from the quay. Regarding location, the Warehouse is pretty much central to much of where you want to be. The river makes for a great walk to the marina. Going the opposite direction, China Town is close, and so are other hidden gems and hawker stalls. There is so much to do and so much to see within 15 minutes of the Warehouse that you will never be bored. As you can probably tell, I cannot wait to get back to Singapore and to the Warehouse. In final, I want to give thanks to all of the people who made my stay the truly amazing experience that it was, but I must give identifiable kudos to Simeon Tse, the Hotelier. Simeon went above and beyond, in every sense of the term, to ensure our stay was PERFECT...and it most certainly was just that. Thank you for educating me on the Warehouse, the industry, Singapore, writing instruments, and fashion. You will not soon be forgotten, sir:-)

Very well run hotel with a friendly team and ultra helpful manager. Beautiful room and particularly enjoyed their local guide book it gave us lots of hidden spots. Easy location with lots of restaurants around and easy for transport and taxis.

Dear Simeon and Team Warehouse Hotel This is Justin Ngien and behalf of my wife Esther Shimin, we would like to thank Warehouse Hotel of the wonderful hospitality provided to us for our stay from Saturday, 13 August 2022 till Sunday, 14 August 2022! It’s really heartwarming to know that the hotel kept in note of our postponed 11th marriage anniversary, where our original intended stay was back on Saturday, 11 June 2022 which was also the actual day as my wife was done with dengue. Despite the change in date, the team really made us welcome and we truly enjoyed our stay. And we REALLY appreciated that you accommodated us in your special room 208 and for what, we are really grateful for it. What we loved about the hotel: 1. Amazing service 2. Fantastic food at Po. We loved every single dish especially the lunch. Breakfast too was great! 3. Love the lounge area with the bar 4. Near to many eateries 5. Really loved the river view 6. Simple but great addition of the B&O wireless speaker! 7. TV which we could do apple airplay! Yay! But note, performance wasn’t as smooth as it kinda lagged a bit. 8. Love the cocktail! Thank you Simeon for the recommendation! It was quite an experience indeed having to first stayed at a Design Hotel where it provided a more closed hospitality. Thank you once again for everything and making this stay such a memorable one for us!

Was served by an amazing team during this stay; welcoming and friendly Areif during check in, cheerful Grace at the bar and Calista who did a smooth and swift check out. Was very pleasantly surprised when received the cocktails tokens! The room is really spacious and cozy. Love the amenities too, which all seemed to be well thought of. Had such a fun time at the pool too but was hoping there could be some shade! Overall, it's such a wonderful weekend spent to be at this hotel!

Rooms at The Warehouse Hotel are spacious, clean, comfortable, and tranquil. I feel like it's almost a meditative sanctuary to retreat, recover, and restore oneself. With just 37 rooms, the place is cozy, and they can accord guests more attention. Stayed at the Warehouse Loft room, with a soaring ceiling framed by metallic beams, a skylight that allowed ample natural but soft diffused sunlight during the day, and warm lamps for intimacy at night. The wireless internet (specific to each room) was fast and stable, and the in-room Bang & Olufsen bluetooth speakers were reliable. The open wardrobe frame is sufficiently large and sturdy. The king size bed was large and comfortable, as was the easy lounge chair, and sturdy working desk with cushioned chair. The mini bar was fully stocked with all manner of locally-curated drinks and snacks (though all of it is chargeable beyond complimentary bottled water, artisanal tea bags, and drip coffee sachets). The bathroom offers a good range of amenities, with eco-friendly toiletries by New Zealand bodycare company, Ashley & Co. Note that the bathroom is semi-private with large automated roller blinds covering the glass door. I had only 2 less-than-stellar points throughout the entire staycation. The first was the smart cable TV lacked interesting options and I couldn't stream YouTube (although this didn't bother me much personally). The second was the shower (both rain and regular shower) which seemed to only have 2 settings - freezing or cold, I couldn't seem to coax lukewarm or hot water out of the shower, so I made do with cold showers throughout (more uncomfortable on days that it rained, less so on sunny days).

Bottom Line - the Warehouse hotel is modern and comfortable, and also very centrally located and within walking distance of many food options. I would definitely stay again. I stayed for 1 night upon arrival into Singapore and used a Marriott free night redemption. I switched over to the JW Marriott afterwards since that was closer to my work. I had a basic room with no view, which was perfect for also no light coming in and getting over jet lag. Staff were friendly and the check in process was simple. Check-out was also quick but I had to email a few days later to get a copy of the final folio as it did not automatically arrive, which they sent immediately. I had dinner in the restaurant, Po, and it was sooo good. I recommend the beef cheek rendang… easily one of the best dishes of my trip!

For the benefit of all reading, Po - celebrates the diversity & richness of Singaporean flavors and pays tribute to the humble ‘Popiah’ – a staple of family gatherings and celebrations across generations, painstakingly created from scratch using traditional family recipes. Advance reservations are strongly recommended for the restaurant. Once again, thank you for visiting & we look forward to the opportunity of welcoming you back in the not too distant future. This was my second time staying in this hotel and the experience was exactly the same as the last time…excellent! From the moment I checked in right through to checking out, every minute was seamlessly smooth. Arief, who checked me in, was professional. He was warm and hospitable, and his interactions put me at ease. As I was cycling to the hotel, I corresponded with the hotel earlier, as I usually do, to ask if there was storage space for my bicycle. I was told that I could have it stored safely. Thank you, Puja. The room I was assigned to was well maintained and comfortable. The housekeeping team definitely did their job well. There are some rust stains on the floor of the bathroom though, from the moving door I suspect. The room on the ground floor overlooked the river. Compared to the last room I was in, this one has a glass window, so do keep the day sheers drawn if you fear people may peer in as they walk past. On the opposite side of the river, there are plenty of food places to choose from. I will not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone who prefers to stay away from the hustle and bustle of Singapore’s shopping belt.

Stayed there for one night recently as a weekend couple retreat. Check-in was efficient with a nice touch of complimentary drink tokens somewhat offsetting the comparable steep price point. Rooms are functionally designed with some quirky, if somewhat impractical features - bathroom privacy screen also has to cover the door so you end up raising and lowering all the time if not single occupancy as otherwise you can’t get in and out… Lobby bar, if somewhat dungeon like after dark given the limited lighting, has a nice selection of cocktails and other drinks. Breakfast buffet offered good choose for all tastes and quick and efficient service. Location is excellent for a stroll (or run) on the river and with easy access to CBD and Orchard. If all this could come at a slightly less hefty price point
