Their customer obsession shows from the ever cheerful voice on the other end of the 24-hour concierge hotline to going above and beyond ensuring every detail is well-arranged, shout out to Simran for working magic, Trina for replying to emails even at 3am, and the many other staff who have contributed to my memorable stay here, thank you! Rooms are relatively smaller here but efficiently organized with artful touches. If traveling for business, would not suggest the normal room with a King bed as the desk becomes smaller, instead would definitely recommend the Executive Suite instead.
I am writing this because I am thoroughly impressed with the quality of service rendered. I am currently serving my SHN till about 3-4 more days and I want to thank Intercontinental Service Team + Wellness Team for organising a comfortable stay for guests like me. Nothing beats coming back to home sweet home and experiencing such wonderful service. The incidence below really showed how prompt and attentive to detail the service staff were: At around day 4, I was not very happy with the quality of meals delivered to me. I had originally asked for vegetarian otherwise pescatarian meals. The first and second day meals were honestly lacking in quality, being too oily and salty. It was just mock meat for every meal and was extremely disappointing. To understand the whole situation better, guests on quarantine (speaking for myself as well) can mostly only look forward to good meals. We are not allowed to move anywhere, confined to a room of our own. The least service that can be provided are good meals. So on day 4, I brought up my request to one of the staff who immediately took it up and my meal was changed. Since then, the meals served to me were all 4/5 and more. I really really appreciate this service. I cannot emphasise on how just this one action really made me feel heard and important. On top of that, I received calls every morning from the staff to ensure that my breakfast was taken in (as I overslept quite often). The staff on the line were always very polite, well spoken and also delivered quick service to me. The nice room that was given to me was also a plus, I like the comfort and layout of the room. To the dear service staff and team of Intercontinental R Q seeking to make all guests experiences good, this is an excellent display of service. I am still in the midst of completing my quarantine but all in all, I just want to say thank you for putting in the effort no matter who you're dealing with. Also a big shout out to the nation's teams from transport to catering for coordinating everything. It's extremely refreshing to see the effort put in to ensure a welcoming stay for the guests. We were at the Intercontinental for our quarantine in Singapore. Staff was very helpful and the service was excellent . Prompt and efficient. Soon after we checked in we received a delicious hot meal We were given a spacious room with a fantastic view of the city. Thanks to all the staff
A million thanks to the Wellness Team + Frontline Team for making the 15D /14N SHN stay so pleasant and strangely welcoming. At the point of checking in, settling down into your room and the daily checkins from the Wellness Team, superb service was consistently personal, delivered and prompt. The team is no doubt attentive to details. Great information sheets were provided to get you settled down in your room and needs for the whole 15 days/14 nights. I left my pair of socks (sentimental) when checking out and the team did not hesitate to contact me to make sure it is returned to me. Very thankful! Amenities in the room are modern, functional and clean - rain shower, bose wireless speakers (AWESOME), chromecast connectivity on TV and that luxurious chair in the tiny room - all fulfilled my me-time moments. They had also provided access to a great platform for news/ entertainment media (5 STARS)! Thank you for being so thoughtful! There is only one small peeve that is: i wish the food catered are in environment friendly packaging. there were a lot of plastic waste acummulated over the stays and I didnt enjoy that bit at all. pick vendors there are environment friendlier pls! We stayed for 2 nights on the way to Sri Lanka from Melbourne. Great hotel very convenient and the rooms are very good. Spacious for Singapore standards. Food is great as well. the staff is quite accommodating and was very helpful.
