The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Couldn't ask for a better experience living in a hostel. Lived in the female dorm and had no problems. Situated in Chinatown, easy access to MRT and food which is all around you. Place was clean and safe, no complains. Highly recommended place to stay in Singapore for basic and convenient accommodation.

Dragged this review way too long! Stayed at Temple Street for 4 nights. The staffs were really helpful in giving suggestions and they were very courteous. Bedroom. Though size wise it was abit hard to move around, but heck, you're staying in a hostel and in Singapore that is. Rest assured rooms, beds, and toilets were CLEAN. Very clean and...

Really close to the Chinatown MRT, making moving around super easy. The hosts are always friendly and ready to greet you with a smile. Quiet hostel which is good if you want peace, but if you want to meet more fellow travellers then this might not be the place.

My very first dorm experience and it couldn't have been better!! My perception of dorms is that they are always dirty, crowded and smelly. When I first entered the Inn, I was greeted by a friendly lady at the front desk and some aromatherapy scent in the air. Very pleasant!! When we were showed to our room, there were 6...

Stayed here last July with my friends. The rooms were very clean and smelled good. The pillow and sheets were the best after a long day of walking around Singapore. :) The location is great since its just a block away from China Town; where you can buy pasalubongs and other stuff. And close to MRT. And of course, breakfast...

Staying in Chinatown

Neighbourhood Profile
Chinatown is a classic combination of colourful sights, enticing smells, and sometimes startling sounds. The precinct is unique, however, in its blending of religions and cultures. A Hindu temple, an Islamic mosque, and a Chinese Buddhist temple sit almost side by side. This sense of cultural harmony continues as you venture just outside of Chinatown to the nightlife areas of Club Street and Duxton Hill. There you’ll mingle with Singapore’s multicultural residents at the modern bars and restaurants dotting the bustling streets. An afternoon in and around Chinatown will leave you culturally enlightened, well fed, and loaded with souvenirs. In the evening, reward yourself with a well-deserved cocktail as the locals come out to play.
