I reserved a room for an 8 hour layover. Checkin was done in 2 minutes. Easy. I chose the option with the attached bathroom to have privacy. The room is big enough and has good beds with nice heavy comforters. Fluffy towels in the bathroom. Which is also big enough. There's tootbrush, shavers, the usual you need. Very clean. It is pricy, but if I compare it with 8 hours bumming in the terminal. I go for this. Small downside: The free meal is a voucher for the lounge across. Let's say mediocre. Tired, limited buffet. I suggest skipping it. There's great food options few steps away. I prefer the upstairs foodcourt close by.
First of all, thumbs up to the 2 guys working at the counter that day. Polite, friendly, thoughtful and helpful especially when dealing with elders travelling on their own. At first we didnt plan to have a room but the showers at the lounge were full too. As for the room, we also had to wait about 2 hours before the next room was available. So those who will have long layover, book early okay. With the room, we got like food voucher too. Well, the room was average. I mean just enough to take a short rest but what ruined the supposedly resting time was the room temperature. It was freaking cold. Asked one of the staff and he said the aircond couldnt be adjusted. Not gonna wait until we get sick, we decided to check out early. I was annoyed because the room was average but still expensive and the worst was we couldnt fully make use of it.…
Flew out of SQ33 from San Francisco last week on December 20th. Receptionist was very friendly. Unlike previous times I have come (like in 2016), the rates they have are only up to 6 hours maximum, not 8 hours. The layover was about 15 hours as we were headed en-route to Chennai on SQ528. Room is pretty good & beds are super comfortable. During the old days (before 2015), they used to have a manual key, but now they have a key card that's RFID, which was so cool. Unlike previous stays, they gave us 2 complimentary breakfast coupons to have at the Ambassador Lounge. The breakfast items were pretty good, albeit limited in selection but enough to get you through the day. Had some toast, croissant, scrambled eggs and roti. Lounge itself is also first class with a Sunflower Garden.Terminal 3 is better because you have views of the tarmac. We landed and are also going to depart from T3, but all the rooms in T3 were sold. Either way, I recommend this place if you have a long layover…
Had a 10 hour transit in Singapore and decided to use this hotel for a 6 hours block. Relatively well priced and clean rooms with a good shower and good bed. No big fuzz but just a good place to have some work done, have a nap and have a shower in-between flight. Checkin took quite long
We had a 17 hour stopover at Singapore on the way back from UK. We booked the Ambassador Transit Hotel at Terminal 2 for 12 hours. A nice big room, no windows and very quiet. We were able to have a meal, a shower and a sleep to recharge for the next flight. It’s not cheap, but we’ll worth it.
Room is neat & clean, but check-in staff (Christina) needs to be re-trained on customer service - Some eye-contact, a friendly smile & less of an attitude wld go a long way when you're the face of the hotel
1. Stuck in Changi with 9 hours to kick - need a place to rest them Ambassador lounge is useful. 2. Clean environment and courteous staff. 3. Decent shower 4. Hot food and a drink (alcohol and non). 5. A secluded nap area - sadly full so could not get that and had to sit What could be improved - Chairs could be improved. To enable a sleep if one wanted. Thanks for helping me!
Well, i was amazed how security and safety measure related to Covid been handled in Changi Airport. Very good and tight and pleasant. Welldone and kudos to all Changi Airport staff upon arrival, friendly and pleasant. So, i check in for a short nap at Ambassador Transit Hotel. Staff at Reception was very professional. Everybody in full equips with PPE, safety measure taken well, I was impress. Reach room 313, room looks neat and clean, sufficient lightings, mask and hand sanitizer provided on the table
A budget hotel with high price. This windowless cube was nothing more than a one star motel charging 4 star prices. Clean is the only good thing I can say. The USB and power point didn’t work. A breakfast voucher for the terminal lounge was the ‘buffet’ breakfast, simply horrible. Don’t waste your money, sleep on the floor at the gate or if you have an overnight stop, go through immigration and fine something nicer in the same price range
Great transit hotel within terminal 2 making it so easy and convenient after a long flight....so good to have a clean room with comfy bed and shower when you have a long stopover....price wasn’t cheap for 12 hours but it was definitely worth it....
