Its is a nice hotel with clean and tidy rooms . The check in is good.
We had booked this hotel through their website and so we were provided with wifi on one device and good indian morning breakfast.
the staff is co operative and polite.Given a budget hotel in singapore, everything was up to the mark.
The best thing about it is its location. It is bang opposite the ferrar park mrt.u get buses and taxis easily. Its in little india area,so veg and indian food is easily available and in a lot of variety.
Would recommend this hotel to friends for sure if they are looking at price effective accomodation in Singapore.

We had a good 2 night stay in Tai Hoe... Firstly, it is very near the Metro... You just go through City Square Mall from the Metro, & you will then be facing the hotel... There are lots of food places you can go to, including one that is just across the street which offers SG type foods that are very affordable & they are open early & til late... Other food options are in the mentioned mall... Staff are helpful as they offer other room options even if you have booked another room in advance... They offered the family room to us compared to the double that we booked after seeing that we were 3 adults & 2 kids... There is also a Baggage weighing scale in the hotel... The one negative is even if we were in a Family room, only 1 device can use wi-fi...

Our family booked 2 rooms and stayed for 5 nights at Tai Hoe. First Impression of the hotel was very good with friendly staff and clean rooms. Being a budget hotel you cannot ask for more and we were all very pleased with the hotel.
I must say that the handling the reservation was done with great professionalism and speed. I had no issues at all in getting any clarifications from the hotel staff. :-)
The location is "CENTRAL" with restaurants all over which made it very easy for us as we were traveling with kids as well.
I personally recommend this hotel for all families who would like a budget stay in Singapore!!!!

Dear Cedric, Thank you so much for your time in writing a review. We are truly glad that you recognise us as what we are, a budget hotel, but one which strives hard to provide service at a high level. I am glad you enjoyed the restaurants all around us. We will be delighted to serve you again should you come to Singapore.

If you plan to stay in this hotel beware, the rooms are not what the pictures on the web site shows. No cushions on bed, no bed cover or flowers or lamp on bed side. No pretty picture over bed head like you see on the web page. Room No. 604 and 606 which we stayed for 2 nights was not what they show. The washrooms is another rip off. The shower in room 606 was fixed above the commode. No shower space at all.
You got to walk down the passage in your PJ's to a hot water filter to get water for the cup of tea/coffee.
WiFi in the rooms is charged for.
The staff at reception were not friendly, and very surely had difficulty in smiling.
Location was good and convenient, close to Farrer Park MRT station so you could easily get to shopping locations
This sure is a BUDGET HOTEL REDEFINED
as the web page says.

Dear Indira Thank you for taking the time to write a review about us. The pictures of the rooms on the website are the actual pictures of our rooms. We are continuously upgrading the rooms and at the point of writing, most of the rooms have been fitted with bed runners and cushions. The space constraint has caused the architecture of the hotel to carve out some awkward layouts for the toilets of a couple of our rooms and this feature is not unique to our hotel but shared but many other budget hotels as well. Our wifi service is provided by an IT company that charges us for every card but we absorb the charges for bookings made on our website. Thank you again for the feedback and I will be sure to share it with our staff to spur them to greater performances.

We stayed here only 03 days. I booked triple/family room online. It was spacious, clean and tidy. And also rooms cleaned every day and clean towels given daily. They provide Tea/coffee and mineral water in room. Iron, hair dryer and iron table available on your request. The hotel is very close to the MRT/bus and for shopping malls on walking distance. You get plenty of food outlets and Mustafa centre is very close by. I do recommend this hotel for families who would look for a hotel in Singapore. No free WiFi/ Internet. Wifi/Internet charges bit expensive than the outside. You can find reasonable places nearby than the hotel. Staff were not very friendly, their busy with their own work but supportive. And not very strict with check in. I was able to check in around 9.30 a.m.(depend on the availability)

Stayed here for 3 nights. I booked triple room and it was very spacious for singapore hotels standard, especially for the price you pay. The room i stayed had just been renovated, so it was nice, clean and new, the only downside was the room had no window. So make sure you request a room with window if you want. The location also very great, you only have to cross the street to get to the mall and MRT. 7-11 on walking distance, food court just across the street. Very recommended hotel!

Stayed in this hotel for 2 nights as Singapore hotels are usually very expensive during any special events going on in the city and during weekends. Check in and check out were handled well. Reception staff are friendly and helpful although they seem busy all the time. My room was on 6th floor and the rooms have had a facelift. Windows are double glazed and hence, noise from road was minimal. Rooms have queen bed, mini bar, jug to make coffee/tea and linen were new and clean. Toilet/shower is small and water spills all over toilet seat, but manageable. Luggage can be stored in a secure room upto a week. There is no restaurant but is surrounded by clean hawkers' stalls and nice and spicy food served in A/C restaurants nearby. Very safe place to be as it is close to 24hrs Mustafa shopping centre. Great value for money.

First of all i would appreciate all of the friendly staffs especially kudos to all the receptionists.
Hotel is located near to farar park metro station so you can easily travel across the city. Also small level indian eateries are available around the hotel till night.
The rooms are small but thats what we can expect in a budget hotel. But they were clean and comfortable. Ideally this hotel should be booked if you going to use the rooms only for night stay and spend the day in sight seeings.
Also, the hotel receptionists helped us in getting tickets to sight seeings with some discounted rate and guided the route to reach the places as well.
Overall a good experience👍

I have never seen such a small bathroom, the shower head is immovable and the water lands on the toilet. It works if you are ok with your legs touching the toilet while you shower. The beds are REALLY hard. We woke with sore backs. There are no bedside tables or lamps. The road noise is so loud we kept checking if we had the window open.... We didn't. And it goes all night. Linen is clean, room made up daily. WiFi quite good. Kettle, tea, coffee and water provided daily. Walls are very dirty. Only 1 working power point. Hair drier in room. Lots of food in streets very close by. We had to leave a credit card number and $20 cash deposit on check in and we couldn't ascertain why. If the price was right I'd stay again, but it would have to be cheap. Taxi from airport was $24.50
