About 11 minutes to Tiung Bahru metro station, very close to Tiung Bahru Hawker where the food is good and the price very low for Singapore. You have to visit the Botanical Garden, one of our favorite sight. Of interest also was Little India, Chinatown, Gardens by the Bay, not to be missed.
Our family booked two rooms. It was a lovely place to stay, staff very helpful, beds exceptional and one of the best local districts in Singapore with a great local market and plenty of quality and funky eateries and shops around. Close to MRT also. Will definitely stay again.
The hotel was nice and clean. The staff were wonderful and the onlydownsize about the hotel is that there is no parking at he hotel. In the room where I was staying, the AC cover was broken and the kettle lid was broken.
Been here with my friends. We had a great stay. You won't go wrong by choosing this one. The hotel staff were easy to approach. They catered all our needs. The hotel is in a convenient location if you would like to take a look for some tourist spots nearby. It's a ten-minute ride by bus going to Sentosa. We got to try a delicious ice cream parlor within walking distance and spent every single morning of our stay at the rooftop lap pool. Will definitely be back April next year passing moonson season.
Small but comfortable room. All needs catered for. Quiet room at the back of the building and a comfortable bed ensured a good sleep. Friendly and helpful at reception. Tiong Bahru hawker market across the road. Chinatown a 10 minute walk away. I would stay again
Look I am going to be honest here, the hotel room was terribly small! Thank God I only had one night there or I would have died of claustrophobia. There I have said it now let's move to the good parts. The people, the people here is what makes the hotel so good. I was here for one night only we checked in on Friday and Saturday we left to catch our flight, on Saturday our flight was at 8pm and my mum was extremely unwell. I asked the hotel if we could checkout at 4pm. The lady behind the counter told me that I will have to pay extra S$70 for late checkout and I was fine with it, but what won me was during breakfast the front desk staff came to tell me "I just spoke to my manager and we won't charge you for checking out at 4pm" That act of compassion is what won me about…
all good would stay again as bus stop right out side hotel.food hall 3 mins walk with a very wide variety to choose from .local shops and beauty salons got one of the beat foot massage ever .get yourself a bus card from the 7/eleven shop you pay $10 then you top up at any local shop .Singapore is a really smart place to visit.I stayed there over 45yrs ago and could not believe the change of the city.
We really enjoyed our stay here for two nights. We would have liked to stay longer and definitely hope to come back in future. Very clean rooms and the staff were great. Very friendly and helped us with all we needed.
+ Very helpful and friendly staff + Pool on 3:th floor big enough for getting wet and some sun + clean room + safe box - Really small room - No much choice for breakfast when breakfast included. Only egg/sausage or cornflakes
The staff clean the room every day with water, soap and toothbrush refilled. The dine-in price is a bit high despite the discount. Otherwise, it is in a convenient location. What else can be improved is probably the WiFi speed which is just OK.
