What a gem! Unbeatable location with key tourist sights all within walking distance. There is an old world charm about the location that is hard to find elsewhere in Singapore. City Hall, Chjmes, Raffles hotel, Arab st all within walking distance.

Great location, central to city and Marina Bay. The room was nice and the bed was comfortable. You are on level 3 and the hallways are old and run down. The free breakfast at the poolside cafe was not good at all, and you are inhaling the smell of chlorine from the indoor pool. Staff weren't as friendly as what...

rooms a little outdated , but that is the ony slight cringe...... the residence is a wonderful place to stay , breakfast and meals all beside the pool were great , the pool and sports gym area caters for everyones needs , very central to the city (easy walk) porters always willing to help and advise with a smile ,...

Yes you may find this hotel slightly cheaper than other hotels in the area but it is not worth the disappointment to save only a few dollars. Please read the many negative comments from seasoned travelers and the robotic careless response from management. This is not a hotel in my humble opinion, it is more of an up market hostel...

3rd stop of our tour. This is the oddest city hotel. It's literally a racquet club with rooms (and rules!) its brilliantly located, and great links to trains. It's a bit dated and smelly, but clean. Rooms ok size and good facilities, however plugs didn't work so fridge stunk. Weird old fashioned rules.... no bar. Asked if we could get...

This was a nice hotel with small rooms, nice exercise facilities and a location close to both Marina Bay and the bus station. There are wonderful restaurants close by, a nice mall and lots of green space. The breakfast is fine and open until 10:30 which was nice. I found it to be the perfect location to explore Singapore from.

This is not a hotel, so do not expect a friendly welcoming reception entrance and you are told to go to the 3rd floor for room check in. This reception is very dated and tired looking with carpet fraying and bit musty. Staff were OK but not overly friendly. Had a room looking over the Pavilion and sky line with...

What an amazing place to stay in the heart of Singapore next to the Esplanade area and Boat Quay! The Club takes private bookings and although the common areas could do with a refurb the rooms are very neat, clean and well presented. Some rooms look out onto the Padang and the terrace which all rooms can access looks directly;y...

Stayed twice pre and post cruise. This hotel is super convenient to the MRT and convenient to shops and restaurants. We stayed in two "end rooms" and LOVED room 326. Large room, bigger shower, gorgeous view of the city. Lovely orchid in the bathroom was a nice touch. Wish they provided washcloths. Bathrobes and slippers, extra pillows available in the...

A Club's Residence normally has all facilities; gym, pool, bowling alley, restaurants jackpot room, etc which are comprehensive and many things to do. More unique is that most of the facilities are in basement including the pool, gym and a café. Particularly like the Padang café which served local familiar favourite foods at reasonable price besides nice foods. Also the...

Staying in Marina Bay

Neighbourhood Profile
Marina Bay
More of a mini city than a neighbourhood in the traditional sense, the iconic Marina Bay aims to dazzle and entertain visitors of all kinds. This is the Singapore found in glossy brochures, featuring a world-class hotel, casino, shops, restaurants, bars, and other attractions all geared towards pure entertainment. The SkyPark at Marina Bay Sands provides a stunning view of the city, a must-see photo opportunity for visitors and locals alike. The ArtScience Museum always has a top-quality exhibition, and Gardens by the Bay is a fascinating manifestation of the government’s vision of Singapore as a “city in a garden”. Enticing Marina Bay is well worth a visit.
