This hotel suddenly cancelled my reservation for October 2022, and it ended up costing me an extra $200 to book somewhere else! Very disappointed! They said they would be closed from June to December 2022. They should plan ahead better.
I booked 3 months in advance and they canceled my booking 5 weeks before the trip date because they suddenly decided to do 'upgrading works'. Everything I can find right now is 2x more expensive but they did not offer any compensation, nor did they even attempt to help me find alternative accommodations. I think this says a lot about how much they care about their guests.
KeSa House has a great location and comfortable rooms with a good selection of toiletries. Amenities and staff were great. The check-in and checkout were also smooth and seamless. I will definitely recommend KeSa House to my friends, family and loved ones!
A lovely hotel with warm, welcoming helpful staff, with great recommendations for places to eat and things to do. I chose a room with a terrace and it was lovely. The building is charming, the aircon and wifi are strong, and it is the *most comfortable* bed I’ve ever slept on! The location can’t be beaten. About 8 minute walk to 2 different MRT stations, a million restaurants and local eateries at your door (go to Maxwell centre!). I loved that there are communal areas including a kitchen (including a filtered water tap to refill water bottles, and even a sparkling water tap (yes!!). Also a common laundry and a lounge room. Very pleasant vibes all round, with lovely decor and chilled vibe. The only con is my room (level 2) was above a bar that played loud music at night. The first night it bothered me, but it may have been the jet-lag as I adjusted to it the next few nights. That is the only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. There may have even been a statement about potential noise but I probably overlooked it! Would still stay here again. One of the best places I’ve stayed!!…
Super charming little hideaway in the heart of Chinatown. Heritage feels and design, perfect for local bars and restaurants and decent shared facilities. Possibly the most comfortable bed of our trip too.
I did enjoy my stay with my friends! The entire building had a lovely colour scheme. There were also roof windows with blinds, which I would recommend closing overnight so that you don't wake up to sunlight that's too bright to sleep in. I wasn't able to confirm this with the staff, but I had my booking as a deluxe room, although the room they provided me with looked very identical to the standard room, and had a lot less space than the deluxe room. The only thing that was frustrating was the wifi/3g/4g connection. We're guessing it's because the walls are very thick (since we could barely hear any other guests from our room), but it was nearly impossible to load anything on our phones requiring internet.
Small room with lousy setting and room dirty……. So many defect in the room…. Check in and out was a total nightmare, staff had no ideas what they are doing and waited like almost 3 hours to get the room!!!! Will never booked or come back to this place
We are here for food trail and this is a great convenient location near to all the hawkers centre in chinatown. Room is very clean and quiet. Staff are very friendly. A suggestion to install more hooks for hanging clothes, towels etc in bathroom.
The room was awfully small! It doesn't look any similar like the pictures posted on Booking.com, the measurement is also misleading. Be very careful, the actual room size is very small, there is no walking space in the room. The bathroom is a joke. I couldn't believe who can actually use that bathroom it is around 600mm x 600mm if not smaller, and only around 1800mm high.... The shower door cannot be closed either, only half closed. I can hardly sit on the toilet as the space is so tiny, leg space around 150-200 mm... Furthermore, the check-in/reception was terrible. There was no information provided on the extra charge for early check-ins, they said 'subject to availability' that's all. When we arrived, the reception lady said they will try their best to get the room ready as quickly as possible without mentioning any charges. When the room was ready 1.5 hour in advance of check-in, she came and asked me for 30 singapore dollars for the early check-in. She couldn't point out the policy on that while asked. I asked how early would the early check-in could be free, she said 30 minutes. So anything between 1.5 hours - 0.5 hours before check-in would cost you 30 singapore dollars (upon checking, other hotels either charge nothing or just $10 per hour). If we were told in advance there is a charge, that would be totally fine for us, but not afterwards. I was with my 2 year old child, the receptionist showed no interest in accommodating my child's needs and no hospitality provided. Even though they had a room ready for check-in, they did not offer us an earlier check-in instead they left us waiting unless we pay. Disappointing. The hand sanitizer by the lift was empty for 24 hours and I have informed the staff about that, yet no action was taken...…
I am overly satisfied with my booking at KēSa House, The Unlimited Collection by Oakwood! Thank you so much for a very nice staycation for my friend’s birthday! The birthday banner & card were such a surprise! The room is cozy, with some kind of elemental mixture of vintage & modern vibes. The front desk staff portrayed very good service. The location is a plus as well. Absolutely had a great time and this hotel added much on happy memories to cherish. 🤓
