The Club is a renovated Chinatown shophouse and it is quite modern and chic. The standard room is quite large and comfortable. It comes with a Nespresso machine and a complimentary minibar that is stocked with juices, soda pop, and water. However, the best feature...More
My stay was overall nice as the hotel is new and the staff is attentive. The room is stylish and spacious, with breakfast included. However, for people who are on business trips that need to sleep early, the basement bar tends to have live music...More

Chinatown is a classic combination of colourful sights, enticing smells, and sometimes startling sounds. The precinct is unique, however, in its blending of religions and cultures. A Hindu temple, an Islamic mosque, and a Chinese Buddhist temple sit almost side by side. This sense of cultural harmony continues as you venture just outside of Chinatown to the nightlife areas of Club Street and Duxton Hill.
There you’ll mingle with Singapore’s multicultural residents at the modern bars and restaurants dotting the bustling streets. An afternoon in and around Chinatown will leave you culturally enlightened, well fed, and loaded with souvenirs. In the evening, reward yourself with a well-deserved cocktail as the locals come out to play.
My suspicions were correct, I thought they were skimping on amenities. They should have announced their closure as soon as it was effective, instead of leaving people wondering all this time, not very professional.
