Went in w colleagues to try the set lunch - all got the Cauliflower tabouleh entre and duck confit main. Both were very nice ! Portions aren't too much as well. I did see a pretty large menu for the brunch at only 88++. Lunch was only 28++ for 2 course for good quality food 👌🏼chill ambiance, decor and atmosphere.

We liked this place very much: clean, modern, generous in case of complimentary (discount tickets, minibar drinks), centrally located, silent, friendly and helpful stuff, well located of foodcentres (chinese and Indian).

From the outside you may begin to scratch your head. Once inside you may begin to understand the concept. a fusball, an old hairdresser chair, a bar with a cold beer waiting for you! Well, if you expect a 5-star this is definetely not for you. If you want a and affordable place to sleep, relax and try something different enjoy...

Location: 5 -10 mins walks from Rochor station Service: First impressions that Front desk check in me with cold face. I fully aware that Design Hotel is just franchise hotel brand with Starwood and totally they ignore Loyalty member. Even the night before is not fully book and we arrive after mid noon but they insist check in time is...

We loved our stay here. The prices were so reasonable for a beautiful air conditioned room in Little India. The staff were wonderful, breakfast was excellent & nothing was too much trouble. Thank you :)

So the location wise is consider as good because it has nearby MRT train station (Rochor, blue line). I went there with my sister for Coldplay concert, mind you that the hotel is basically cater for couples but we don't really mind because we really wanted to try it out. The perks of it has to be their friendly staffs...

Very cool vibe to this place. Warehouse style bar and restaurant on the ground floor, with rooms above. The higher you go, the bigger the rooms. Second floor = tiny TINY rooms. Great if you just need somewhere to crash and that's it but you don't wanna spend any time in these. Third floor is more like a normal hotel...

Booked the Wanderlust for overnight stay pre-cruise. The location in Little India was ideal for beginning a short exploration of Singapore"s traditional ethnic neighborhoods. We were originally attracted to the Wanderlust because it was 'different', if certainly did not disappoint. We had booked a mono room but got upgraded to the Whimsical, it was a treat. I think it probably...

I have spent 3 nights at Wanderlust and overall it is an average/good hotel. I stayed in the orange pantone room, which is bright orange and tiny. I wouldn't recommend it for 2 people. For a solo traveller it is ok. The hotel is located in Little India, very near Rochor MRT station, 5 minute walk. The hotel is in...

I'm loyal to SPG so I was very excited to stay here. I got the yellow submarine room which I hated as it has a silly layout with a bag tub which I don't need yet no sofa to sit on. Everything is tiled so it feels like one big bathroom with a bed. Luckily it was not noisy and...

Staying in Little India

Neighbourhood Profile
Little India
With a strong local Indian community, this pocket of Singapore can feel like another place and time. Wander past traditional barbershops while local residents in brightly coloured saris patronize retailers from decades past. Peruse streets lined with colourful shops as the aroma of curry tempts you to indulge. Listen to the Bollywood music echoing from storefronts and take in the stalls selling bright flowers, fabrics, and spices. At the 24-hour, four-level Mustafa Shopping Centre, you can shop through the night and find everything from pharmacy and grocery items to Bollywood DVDs and diamond necklaces. Singapore’s Little India offers a colourful, lively taste of the subcontinent and is well worth the visit.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Wanderlust in Little India draws madcap, curious voyagers to the old ethnic enclave. Made for guests with a sense of adventure, we invite you to walk the unconventional path where a radical hotel experience awaits. Its history began in the 1920s as the Hong Wen School, where the building at No 2 Dickson Road still retains its old-world charm with an unchanged façade. Situated 10 minutes from the cosmopolitan stretches of Orchard Road and the Central Business District; Wanderlust also offers door step access to a bustling, colourful street life. The four storey boutique hotel has 29 rooms. Just as no 2 rooms are identical, the same can be said for each floor in the hotel. It features the groundbreaking works of award-winning Singapore design agencies. Each agency was given full creative freedom to design an entire level in the hotel, resulting in four, different ‘in-your-face’ themes – ‘Industrial Glam’, ‘Eccentricity’, ‘Is It Just Black and White?‘ and ’Creature Comforts.’ ... more   less
