Overall. It was an enjoyable stay. The room was a little smaller then l expected. The location was great, everything you needed were just a few steps away. I would tell my frends about this hotel. A little noisey at times.

Location excellent... But difficult to find, make sure you print off the exact location /map! The room was the smallest room I have ever stayed in, we had 2 suitcases and these barely fit in the room. In fact we had to squeeze through a gap between case and door. Bed was comfy, air con worked. Bathroom tiny, have a...

Regrettably much dust on the floor in the corners of the room. Sheets should have been changed at least every three days. Location in China Town is excellent, however, the uncleanness spoils the merits.

I don't want to jinx the rest of my holiday by saying this is the worst ever.... But dear god. Thick dust on the threadbare carpets, bugs climbing up the walls. Central location but noisy. Very dirty bed linen, and when staff were told they said they would change the sheets but then didn't (same stains in the same places)....

Excellent location. Wright in the heart of Chinatown near all the cheap eats. If you want to eat where the locals eat. Ask where the food court is. It's just around the corner on a 2nd level and really, really cheap. $2.50-$5.00 a dish. I loved it. But we are all different. Otherwise plenty of restaurants around too. All accommodation...

Rooms are tiny, un welcoming staff, Needs a renovation especially with washrooms. I Literally had to pull my bags to room after an over night flight and I wasn't considered to give an early check in. If your budget is low, prefer a hostel with bag packers. This place won't fail to disappoint you.

I was booked a single room, the room and bathroom are quite small it just nice for a person to stay and not spend too much time in hotel. The hotel was very convenient to the town and MRT station which the purple line. The room that I stayed had some faulty like table lamp and remove control. I advise...

We were after a medium range hotel that was central for our three night stay in Singapore as first timers. It's the worst place I've stayed and far to expensive for what was on offer. The "family room" was so small, for a family room I would of thought it would be in a quiet part of the hotel but...

The best thing about this hotel is its location, Chinatown has everything one could want in walking distance and all SMRT transport facilities are bye. I had a superior room and was glad I was alone because it was very cramped and would be unsuitable for more than 1 perso the front desk staff were helpful and the room cleaner...

Staying in Chinatown

Neighbourhood Profile
Chinatown
Chinatown is a classic combination of colourful sights, enticing smells, and sometimes startling sounds. The precinct is unique, however, in its blending of religions and cultures. A Hindu temple, an Islamic mosque, and a Chinese Buddhist temple sit almost side by side. This sense of cultural harmony continues as you venture just outside of Chinatown to the nightlife areas of Club Street and Duxton Hill. There you’ll mingle with Singapore’s multicultural residents at the modern bars and restaurants dotting the bustling streets. An afternoon in and around Chinatown will leave you culturally enlightened, well fed, and loaded with souvenirs. In the evening, reward yourself with a well-deserved cocktail as the locals come out to play.
