We got 4 night stay there, the Superior room s pretty small but that s ok as it s in the center, and the bathroom s big enough though. The boys at check in and check out were very helpful in assisting me for nearby attractions and luggage storage at departure. Thank you guys.

The best thing about the Porcelain Hotel is that it is right in the middle of Chinatown.Like a lot of hotels in Singapore the rooms are very small. We paid for a superior room but had to pay $200 extra to upgrade to a spa room for our 4 night stay.We had nowhere to put our suitcases let alone try to open one.Upon saying this the rooms were very clean and a nicely renovated bathroom and toilet.I would stay there again as the staff were very friendly and extremely helpful.

Pros: 2-3 min walk to Chinatown MRT station, comfortable bed and pillows, walking distance (less than 1km) from hawker centers (Maxwell, Hong Lim) and various malls (Chinatown Point, People’s Park), lots of good, relatively inexpensive restaurant options nearby, kind staff, clean room. Water pressure is strong. Basic toiletries provided. Free wifi. Cons: Room is tiny (Deluxe room was 14 sqm only) so manage your expectations. There is a small closet to hang your clothes in but no drawers. The walls are not sound proofed and/or are very thin. You can hear guests next door if they speak a little loudly or if they have a crying child with them. At night, the street below can get a bit noisy. Might be good to bring a pair of ear plugs if you’re a light sleeper. The bed faces the

I read the reviews here before booking this hotel so it was an unpleasant surprise to learn that the condition of my room was not up to standard at all. The walls had tons of stains on them, and the lighting was clearly insufficient. I was not able to do any make up in the morning because I could not really look at my face clearly, which was very frustrating. The shower was not acceptable at all, very little water came out. The bed sheets were visibly clean, which was fine but the rest was just very frustrating. I did not book the cheapest room type already...

Ok for a stopover. Not a luxury hotel but suitable if you just want a bed and a bathroom. Not a room to spend any time in apart from sleeping and freshening up to go around Singapore. Located in the center of Chinatown. Cost is comparable to the quality
