You can only pick this place if you are outside majority of the time. The rooms are very small. Even for 1 person staying, the rooms became very tiny. There is not enough place to even keep luggage. Lighting in the room is dark and so in the bathroom. Bathrooms are clean and there is more place to move about...

The location of this hotel is superb, right in the hustle and bustle of Chinatown and a short stroll to the Hawker Market with worthy cheap eateries and loads of entertainment options! The MRT Chinatown station is just around the corner which comes in handy with getting to and from the airport and exploring the local sites around the city....

We booked this hotel as we arrived in Singapore after a cruise at 8am & we're not due to fly out until 10:25 pm that evening & wanted a room to leave our bags & freshen up after last minute Chinatown shopping. We specifically asked for early check in, which was supposed to be available for an extra $20SNG but...

Locating is great, right in the heart of Chinatown with plenty of good cheap eats nearby and a short walk to some fantastic restaurants and bars. The hotel is modern and clean, but the standard rooms are indeed tiny - just a bed, shower and toilet. Only staying 1 night, it was fine for a quick stopover, but anymore than...

This hotel is not suitable for couple with kids or travellers with more than 2suitcases. Booked into their executive queen room and its still small. No place to lay out our suitcase and no hooks to hang clothes/stuff. Didn't like the layout of the room where the toilet door is next to the bed, almost sleeping next to the toilet...

Pro's: Right next to MRT's. In the heart of Chinatown, close to Mall with Din Tai Fung dimsum, Hop On Hop Off Tour bus is 1 long block away on both ends of the Mosque Street. Great place for specialty food stores and shopping. Koi Kei is a couple streets over for delicious treats! Lau Pasat is a short taxi...

I booked this hotel as I thought it was good value and a cute option. Check in was easy but service was minimal. Our first room (the deluxe option) was tiny and too small for my boyfriend to fit in the bed or for us to put our backpacks down. We asked for an upgrade and were offered some options...

I traveled to Spore for business at the Marina Bay Sand so the location of this hotel is a plus...you can just zip MRTA to Marina at the speed of light...the price with the size of the room and the no breakfast option however is considered ok, no eye wide opened wow...not cheap not expensive with the cost of living...

Pro: - good location. short walk from chinatown MRT and surrounded by dining spot. - hot water takes short time to adjust - surprisingly you got everything you need in the tiny room. Cons: - room is very tiny but every room in singapore does with the same price. if you have big luggage then you will find difficulties. i...

Staying in Chinatown

Neighbourhood Profile
Chinatown is a classic combination of colourful sights, enticing smells, and sometimes startling sounds. The precinct is unique, however, in its blending of religions and cultures. A Hindu temple, an Islamic mosque, and a Chinese Buddhist temple sit almost side by side. This sense of cultural harmony continues as you venture just outside of Chinatown to the nightlife areas of Club Street and Duxton Hill. There you’ll mingle with Singapore’s multicultural residents at the modern bars and restaurants dotting the bustling streets. An afternoon in and around Chinatown will leave you culturally enlightened, well fed, and loaded with souvenirs. In the evening, reward yourself with a well-deserved cocktail as the locals come out to play.
