Beyond expectation upon read many reviews before visiting this hotel. Small room but equipped with enough facilities. Location is a heart of Chinatown as we can easily access Public Transportation. Cost os Taxi from airport to this hotel was approx SGD 26. Staff at reception was very friendly ( not asked for any deposit as previously mentioned in many reviews...

We booked before we read any reviews - when we did so, we got concerned. However, when we arrived there everything was OK and we had a lot better impression than some of the comments have indicated. We contacted the hotel upfront and made sure that our executive room has windows and a reasonable size. ....and so it was! Maybe...

This is my 4X here, I like everything abt this hotel except the rooms:- Pros 1. Super near to the MRT station, which makes popping in/ out from shopping very easy 2. We initially booked online one of their best rooms (executive), only to find out on arrival that it was extremely small. It seems that it is a usual practice for customers to want to upgrade to a bigger room, as there were relevant announcements in the elevator. With 30 dollars more we got their suite that we felt was overpriced....

Staffs are very friendly and the location is gd. It located in China Town, only 5 mins after get off the train. But the rooms are quite small. A twin bedroom only can place the bed and no space left. But the location is really gd that have lots attractions nearby.

Good location, Friendly staff but the size of the rooms for how much i paid was a let down. I booked the executive room and was quite surprised at how the small the room was other than that i had no problems when staying here.

We had a very tiny room. The bed had it's three sides sticking to the walls and the fourth free side had a small gap just between it and the bathroom's glass wall. There is very limited space for luggage and for moving around. The hotel is in Chinatown and it is within walking distance to Temple street and it's...

We booked the executive with wifi for 5 days. But when we arrived and checked, we were shocked to see that it's quite smaller than I thought. So we asked for an upgrade, and they showed me the premiere and the suite room. Premiere is long corridor room, with dual sides of windows and good enough space for a couple....

I have stayed here twice in the last year. The; location is good, the rooms are clean, the air con's don't get that cold, staff are generally pretty nice too. Be careful with your booking though. It seems the sizes on most large OTA's are not the same as what you get!

What I like about the hotel is that it is accessible and near the following: 1. MRT station 1-2 minutes walk 2. restaurants are all over the place (though they are not open in the morning but an alternative breakfast place is McDonalds). 3. Shopping area 4. Temple area (good for picture taking) 5. Spa (Inside the hotel as well...

Staying in Chinatown

Neighbourhood Profile
Chinatown is a classic combination of colourful sights, enticing smells, and sometimes startling sounds. The precinct is unique, however, in its blending of religions and cultures. A Hindu temple, an Islamic mosque, and a Chinese Buddhist temple sit almost side by side. This sense of cultural harmony continues as you venture just outside of Chinatown to the nightlife areas of Club Street and Duxton Hill. There you’ll mingle with Singapore’s multicultural residents at the modern bars and restaurants dotting the bustling streets. An afternoon in and around Chinatown will leave you culturally enlightened, well fed, and loaded with souvenirs. In the evening, reward yourself with a well-deserved cocktail as the locals come out to play.
