We loved staying here for four days. The location on the edge of Little India was just what we wanted. It has great transport connections with two MRT stations & multiple bus stops nearby. We also loved the vibrancy of the Little India area & Jalan Besar. There are good places to eat close by (we enjoyed dumplings a few streets away & the Tekka centre is worth a visit). We self-catered breakfast so we could make an early start most mornings & found a CS supermarket in walking distance at Bugis Junction. We also used the coffee machine on level 2 (perfectly good coffee) & the washing machine & dryer (eating at hawker centres can be messy!). Our room had the most storage we had ever seen in a hotel room. Housekeeping was unobtrusive & efficient. Reception staff were always friendly. As a bonus, there is a good Malay restaurant (Aleeya) on the ground floor of the hotel. It is reasonably priced for a fancier restaurant & offers 10% discount for hotel residents. Note that because of the restaurant there is not really a lounge area in the hotel lobby. The area might not be for everyone but we loved it. It certainly challenges the view that Singapore is sterile & boring.

Only reason this wasn't a five-star stay was the size/layout of rooms. My colleague got a studio room, which didn't have enough floor space to even lay out a suitcase. The queen bed was against a wall on three sides, so if there are 2 people, one would need to climb over the other to get in/out of bed. I got the loft, which had a lot more floor space, including a nice kitchenette and comfortable sitting area. But the loft bed can only be accessed by an extremely steep staircase. The loft also had a very low ceiling, making it even more treacherous to have to duck when going up/down the top stair.

I actually struggled to sleep because of my fears of the stairs. I tend to get up once per night to use the washroom, especially when my hydration is a bit off-kilter during travel. Whenever I got up, having to be so cautious on the stairs and turn several lights on, made my mind activate and I struggled to go back to sleep. This was really disappointing because the bed was otherwise quite comfortable and rooms were extremely quiet (no street noise or hallway noise)... Sleep should have been so much easier!

But there were a LOT of positives:
+ Excellent location just around the corner from MRT station
+ 1-2 short blocks walk to dozens of dining options in Little India (including several 24 hr restaurants)
+ Supremely clean, modern rooms
+ Filtered water faucet en suite (at least in my loft), and shared guest water tap for filtered and sparkling water
+ Complimentary guest laundry (including soap)
+ Excellent multilingual staff who are professional and quick

Just checked out of Wanderlust yesterday and we are now back home in Manila. We enjoyed a comfortable stay at Wanderlust and hope to return soon.
The location is ideal for us because it is close to the conference venue, Grab rides were easy and the hotel was surrounded by convenience stores and food vendors (open even at night). It was very convenient to buy food and eat at our clean and cool hotel room.
The kitchen was very handy. We love the drinking water tap and the size of the refrigerator. The hotel management thought of everything-even the pull out dining table, dishwashing detergent and sponge, extra garbage bags, storage for luggage, lots of extra storage, wide bathroom counters, the ice machine and the coffee machine and laundry room at the 2nd floor, etc.

Rizwana gave us a warm welcome and made us choose free snacks from the lobby. She was also very gracious to help us with our queries throughout our stay and no task was too small or too big for her in her efforts to serve us. Rizwana was like a friendly and helpful neighbor who welcomed us to our new neighborhood. :-)

If you want a hotel that feels like home in a convenient location with a friendly and helpful neighbor, then Wanderlust is for you. :-)

We stayed in a Premier room for seven nights and I can thoroughly recommend this hotel. It is very easy to reach from the airport using the MRT. The location is very central - close to Little India and Orchard road is easy to get to by foot or by bus.
The staff are very accommodating. Our flight landed early in the morning and we were at the hotel at 9am. We left our bags in their storage room and went for a wander and returned just after 11am at which time Nicole at reception very kindly handed us our key to our room.
The room is compact and has everything you need and more including a microwave and induction cooktop. We didn't cook but used the microwave to re-heat food and this helped prevent food wastage while dining out because we could bring home restaurant leftovers.
There is also a coffee maker and washing machine/dryer for guests' use.
We plan to return to Singapore later this year and have already booked our stay at the Wanderlust.

After a 12-hour flight we arrived here at 6:00 in the morning. Ideal place after such a trip. Reception was very cordial, we could freshen up and immediately got a cup of coffee. We left our luggage behind and started exploring the city until we could get into our room. The hotel is ideally located. Quiet but right next to the metro and you are within a short time with with Grab also everywhere. You can also walk from the Gardens at the Bay if you fancy a walk. Other nice neighborhoods like Kampong Glam are all close by, a few minutes walk away. The room was very clean. The plunge pool is lovely. We didn't see anyone else there so it was like we had a private bath. The unlimited free coffee, tea and water (flat and sparkling) you can grab yourself was the very best.

Upon arrival at the hotel, we were greeted immediately by the staff at the reception and Check In was fast.

The beautiful wall murals at the courtyard was therapeutic to view as we traveled up to our floor.

The loft studio was spacious and cosy with a kitchenette for 2 pax and their amenities are located such as a Pantry for sparkling water, coffee, tea, ice and coin operated laundromat machines.

I found a hidden gem in the hotel which is the dipping pool and courtyard great for an evening chill out, look out for the door that says Dipping Pool at level 2.

The location of this Hotel is 5min walking distance
from Jalan Besar MRT and it’s between Little India and Jalan Besar Heritage zone where you can explore and admire the beautiful architecture of heritage shop houses, murals along the alleyways and melting pool of various types of cuisines to found from local Kopitiam shops that’s sell Chinese, Indian, Indian Muslim food, restaurants that sells Sichuan cuisine, Dim Sum, Western Style Cafe that serves barista style coffee, cakes and many more.

There is an audio curated tour called End of New World a friction love story of a couple who work at New World, the tour will bring you around the area
which I highly recommend.

After looking through endless reviews and much consideration I decided to book Wanderlust in Little India for my 1 night stopover en route from Europe to Sweden.
A good sleep is a blessing on such a trip. And in a nice room in a nice area, even better.
I wasn’t disappointed, the premier studio room with a kitchenette was a decent size, super clean, great shower and had a very comfy bed.
I was greeted by a very friendly and competent staff member, check in was a breeze and I was clearly informed of all I needed to know.
The Hotel is in a quiet street but just around the corner there’s plenty of action, shops, restaurants etc.
A few minutes walk took me to heart of little India where I had a late dinner, a plain Dosa at the Tekka food market for all of $1.50 including unlimited refills of the delicious sauces that came with it!
The hotel itself isn’t cheap but much nicer than many other hotels in the same price class.
I loved the water filter tap in the room.
Also loved the international electric converter built into the wall, very useful as I didn’t have a Singapore converter with me.
I was also informed there was free sparkling water and a coffee maker one floor down, although I didn’t check I loved the idea.
A taxi from the airport and then back added about another S$50 to my stay, but if You don’t have much luggage, the train from the airport is a great way into town and Little India train station is only a few minutes walk away.
Next day I could store my luggage for a few hours as my flight was in the evening.
A spot of shopping and a good Indian Thali at the Madras New Woodlands restaurant, just down the road. Next time I’ll go back to Tekka instead!
Then the friendly hotel staff helped me call a taxi.
Loved the whole 24 hours.
I’ll definitely try to come back here next time I’m in Singapore.

Starting from the entrance of the place till we reached our hotel room, every sight in the hotel is insta-worthy and love the minor details in the room. Such as hidden door to the bathroom and they provide cooking utensils, glasses (pretty complete utensil for a few nights stay in)
The only downside is the stairs to the bed, it’s pretty steep so just be careful on that. (We booked studio loft).

Location of this place is near to MRT.

I will could recommend and come back here again.

Wanderlust is only 3 minutes from the Jalan Besar MRT in the centre of one of Singapore’s most vibrant neighborhoods. Five minutes walk northwest and you’re in the heart of Little India, six to the east and you’re in the eclectic mix of Jalan Besar, while a further five minutes on brings you to the hipster café scene of Tyrwitt Road. Heritage buildings abound, but unlike Duxton Hill, rents haven’t gone through the roof and driven ordinary businesses out. You can still find everyday enterprises like religious paraphernalia shops, clothing, metal workshops and grocery stores scattered about. Ordinary people still go about their ordinary lives here, cheek by jowl with restaurants and bars that don’t cost a fortune.

The exterior of the hotel is nothing to write home about, but step through the doors and you’re presented with a calm, stylish environment with a bit of art and greenery thrown in to add interest. The rooms are clean and comfortable and come with a bathroom stuffed with thirsty towels and a shower you could go dancing in. Soft, comfy bed with startlingly white sheets.

The highlight though, was the team on the front desk. Like Wanderlust’s sister hotel Kesa House, the front desk is staffed by totally professional hospitality workers with excellent communication skills who really know their job. More importantly to me though, I got a smile, a nod or a name check that lifted my spirits every time I wandered past. I was made to feel like a welcome guest.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Wanderlust. The room was a simple design, but adequate in size and very clean. The hotel is well equipped for every travellers needs, with a plunge pool and complimentary laundry/drying service. The hotel staff were very friendly and offered us great tips on places to eat and see. The hotel is situated in a great location within Little India and is a short walk from the metro station. If you're looking to stay in an area that offers a more authentic experience of the city, then I would highly recommend staying at Wanderlust.

Does the hotel have any rooms specifically for people in wheelchairs?
Answer from Sheryl Yeo

I know they do have a lift and the rooms are accessible without having to lift the wheelchair into the room (ie no step at the main door). I’m not very sure what specific requirements are needed for folks in wheelchairs but general accessibility for wheelchairs seems alright. The corridors and lift can fit the acreage wheelchair!

Unfortunately the tvs aren't smart tvs and there's no Netflix installed. However, you could always bring your laptop and a hdmi cable as a workaround, which is what we did. Hope this helps!

Hi, We do not have parking facilities in the property. The nearest Carpark D0026 is on Dickson Rd. Alternatively – Sim Lim Tower is an option too.
