View of air conditioning units from my “deluxe” room 2 inches of space from wall on either side of the bed. TV that can only be viewed through acts of contortion Unusable “desk” space Hard pass for any future visits from me. They confirmed that this is considered deluxe.
My family of five booked two rooms here and stayed for more than a week. The staff is helpful, warm, and accommodating. While not big, the rooms are well-designed so there is ample space even for many large suitcases. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are quiet. The fully stocked kitchenette and free laundry in the facility worked out very well for a traveling family like ours. The location is great, within walking distance to sights in Little India and the MRT station and malls. We would highly recommend Wanderlust.
This is the most ideal hotel stay. The price point is great. The hotel itself is very chic and has everything you need. For us, traveling with a 2 year old, we prefer to have a kitchenette and stayed in the loft room. At first we were nervous about the stairs to the bed, but it worked out perfectly. We had space downstairs to play and the kitchenette with the fridge was so useful! along with the amenities. Being able to get the ice, condiments, etc came in quite handy. The access to nearby markets and train station was great. Great location for us. But the BEST part of the stay was the staff. Everyone was extremely helpful, kind and went way above and beyond to attend to our request and provide information for inquiries.
Found this place last minute due to a flight hiccup. All went very well, staff very friendly and helpful. Room very clean but be careful of the very steep stairs if you stay in the loft. Washing machines and dryers are offered free of charge, all in mint condition. Situated in Little India so there are a lot of interesting eateries around the area.
Visited the Wanderlust for an initial 3 night stay. Due to a change in schedule we had to shorten our stay to 2 nights. Apparently this modification was a very complex thing to ask. Because of poor communication between the booking partner and the Wanderlust we lost so much time. I spent useless hours at the reception and on the phone. Note that in the T&Cs the first night would be charged, which I did not oppose to, as we would be staying the first night. Wanderlust team however also wanted to charge me the third night. There was no solution provided from Wanderlust staff, so I ended up cancelling the entire stay to then pay the second night directly to the Wanderlust hotel at a much higher rate + additional fees for the first night. I was initially planning to book another stay at the Wanderlust upon our return to Singapore, but after this experience they won’t see me again. The room was also super small with very dangerous stairs to get to your bed. What I did like was the kitchenette, which was convenient. I was not planning to leave them a review on Tripadvisor, but as I received 4 emails from the Wanderlust reminding me to leave a review on Tripadvisor, you’re really asking for it..…
We would like to commend Mr Jordan Chan for the warm service and excellent hospitality that was shown on our first day of the staycation. We find Wanderlust to be clean and cozy yet there are sparkling water & cooking facilities to be used. Overall it’s one of the better places that we have stayed and we truly enjoyed our time here
Exquisite boutique hotel in the heart of Singapore’s Little India precinct. Rooms were clean, and staff were friendly. Favourite part of the room has to be the filtered water feature that makes refilling of drinking cups/bottles extremely convenient (not to forget environmental friendliness). Wanted to thank Jordan and Nicole, who went out of their way to make our stay comfortable and pleasant. Appreciate the tips on good food nearby, and for loaning us your personal umbrellas during downpours.
The location is just a short walk from the MRT station and there are eateries everywhere. I stayed for one night as I had errands to do in Singapore. The staff are very friendly and I left my luggage before the check-in time and only checked-in at night. The room was small but it has everything one would need, and more importantly it's clean and the shower was amazing.
It was a good staycation. It’s clean and spacious. I love everything about this hotel. I get to cook as well. Very closed to Bugis. There are food nearby. Service is amazing. I will come back again. Thank you!
This was our third time staying at Wanderlust. The Loft room was lovely and spacious for two, with plenty of counter room and space to cook at the pantry. (The stairs to the loft were very steep though and older visitors might want to keep it in mind). If we were to re-renovate our apartment we might take some cues from the decor at Wanderlust. We really liked the decor, especially the hotel's mirrors in the bathroom and hallways which are a huge, beautiful oblong. If the hotel had them for sale we'd happily take a couple :) Location-wise, it's a minute away from Jalan Besar MRT and 5-10 mins from Rochor MRT. It's quite easy to get around from here. Lots of good coffee shop meals to be found in the vicinity, too.
