I originally booked a room at Fragrance Hotel Oasis, but when I arrived they can only give me a room with two single beds and without a window. I told the receptionist that I cannot stay in a room without a window. She then offered me to be transferred to a nearby Fragrance Hotel Classic so I can have a room with queen size bed and a window.
I stayed at Fragrance Hotel Classic for two nights. The staff were nice and friendly. They let me check in earlier.
The hotel room is small but bearable. But the bathroom is really tiny that you cannot move freely. It was clean though.

I stay here for a longgggg longgggg time ago. And I still remember, this hotel actually had a really small room, even I'm staying at lv.7 , the room is not big. But, the hotel staff is really friendly! Good service here! But, there's no breakfast here. But okay, because the hotel staff is friendly ;)

Thank you for returning to stay with us! While the hotel does not have a food and beverage establishment, there is a wide variety of food waiting for the foodies to discover. Travellers might be delighted to know that Balestier is a food haven, known to many locals for its delicious local fares that are tucked away in shophouses that line the road.

Booked initially for a short term but after just a week we have extended for more of a long term stay. Myself and my husband have moved to Singapore but not long enough to rent an apartment so we have moved around to different areas and hotels over the last 3 months and we have settled on this one for our duration of our stay here. The reception staff are so nice, so so helpful, always greeting us with warm smiles and are genuine lovely people, they will help with anything you need, from finding a laundry facility nearby to what number bus to get on for a certain attraction/place to visit. Our room attendant lady and the lady who cleans the communal spaces are fantastic, they are always so nice and the room and hotel itself is always so so clean, they are a real asset to the hotel. The room is extremely bright and well set out, yes, the rooms are small but there is plenty of room for 2 people and we have never found the size an issue, we are in Singapore, all hotel rooms are small because its a small country with limited space, you just need to be organised and work with the space you have. The bed is nice and comfy and large and is built into a platform with a good space underneath for storing your luggage, the window is very big with so much natural light coming in, and we are situated at the back of the hotel, which is super quiet, so we always get a good quiet nights sleep. The bathroom is a small and very functional wet room and is very clean with a good running shower and hot water. Wifi is great, never had any problems, even when uploading photos/videos onto social media or watching Netflix etc,. The area is fantastic, so many nice places to eat on the doorstep, lots of nice places to walk with a lovely park just 10 mins walk away and the bus connections just outside the hotel are great, my husband works in the CBD and gets the number 130 bus everyday to and from work and its so inexpensive. The MRT is a little bit of a walk and mainly uphill but I recommend taking the bus, which is less than a minute walk from the hotel, there are so many buses that will take you to almost every place worth visiting here. Overall I would say this hotel is fantastic value for money and after staying in 5 different hotels, of all ranges, this is our preferred for sure!

I’m generally a no frills traveler and a bed is a bed, location is more important to me, nothing wrong with the location of this hotel but the fact that this hotel could even feature on an international website like Agoda.com is completely shocking to say the least.

My story goes like this, the cab driver on the way to the hotel with my girlfriend in the car explains that this budget hotel is a “love hotel”. His explanation quickly becomes apparent during the night and into all hours of the morning with the constant opening and closing of the hotel lift and the tapping of high heel shoes up and down the passage. The hotel is used for quick HOURLY BOOKINGS for PROSTITUTION, to put it simply, as confirmed by the staff the next day.

The rooms are cleaned by noisy cleaning staff throughout the night as the rooms are vacated and then quickly refilled, following the disgusting humanly acts that are performed in there. The tiny rooms STINK of cigarettes, as does the bedding and even the towels in the toilet. Its FILTHY, DIRTY and FERAL beyond words. The beds mattresses are made with PLEATHER (plastic leather) I suppose so they can clean them quickly. Its BEYOND DISGUSTING, I’m writing this so that you don’t have to go through a similar experience, don’t stay here. I didn't get any sleep and was moved to the fifth floor to a less noisy room at 5am after completely losing it!!!!

Not a room but four walls around a bed, often used just for few hours by usual guests for reasons you can imagine. First room offered had no windows!! 2nd room did not have enough floor space for our 2 cases and ourselves. Bathroom was the smallest I have ever seen. No divider between shower and WC !! Internet was expensive. The staff were lovely and friendly, which was the only good thing about the whole stay.

I've spent 2 nights here and it was good. the room is not big but quite convenience. They provide you a hair-dryer, hot-water shower, 2 towels, 2 bottles of drinking water, an electric kettle and some tea bag and instant coffee.

The hotel staff is very helpful.

The hotel is located quite near the bus station. There are many local restaurants around the hotel which most of them open til very late at night.l, also small shopping plaza, and a theater. Also there's a 7 mini-mart next to the hotel you can find whatever you want around here.

You can easily go to wherever from here by bus.
I would say this is a pleasure stay one.

We originally booked Fragrance Hotel - Oasis before, but then they said they only had one small room available and whether we'd like to shift to Fragrance Hotel - Classic across the street. I saw some reviews stating the same situation too. Marketing strategies, maybe?

At the Fragrance Classic they said they upgraded us to a bigger room - which took us by surprise when we see how small the room was. It was really2 small, reeked of old furniture, and have dirty stains all over the corner. The bathroom was even worse. It's about 1sqm - one side has toilet seat and sink, and the other side has shower and door. So you could imagine, everytime you shower, the whole bathroom will be soaked. WORSE - the water leaked outside from the door, creating a mini-flood in our room. They don't even have a trash bin in the toilet and don't even provide a decent bathmat.

Thankfully, aircon and water heater is working properly. TV has only 1 watchable channel. Other good thing about it is that it's located right next to 7eleven, right across Boon Tong Kee, a little walk over to McD, Founders Bakkuteh and other Singapore's best street delicacies.

Overall, this hotel is quite dreadful. If it wasn't for it's the cheapest hotel we could find (and honestly not even cheap!)- we wouldn't want to stay here. I will not recommend this hotel to anyone, and will not come back. Rather pay more for a better hotel.

Do u serve Indian breakfast

We are the Managing Operator for Fragrance Chain of Hotels. Thank you for your interest in Fragrance Hotel - Classic! We wished to clarify that our hotel does not have a food and beverage establishment that serves hotel breakfast service to our hotel guests. However, you can find local food served in the many non-air-conditioned eateries in the hotel vicinity. For Indian Cuisine, we recommend this restaurant called Tandoori Corner, which is a stone's throw away at a 60m walk from the hotel. Travellers can visit this eatery which is open daily for lunch (1200hrs to 1445hrs) and dinner (1800hrs to 2145hrs). This casual dining eatery is being awarded the TripAdvisor's Certificate Of Excellence and is well-known for serving authentic North Indian food to all food lovers at reasonable prices.
