If you are looking for a small, relaxed & friendly place to stay in Singapore, in the central city area convenient to public transport and getting around, this is it! We are a small laid back place to stay where you'll some meet great people and get some sleep!

We booked bunks in a 10 room dorm and were surprised to find two older ladies who apparently are long(er) term guests? It didn't seem like they ever left the room and spent most of the time harping at staff to get linens changed or to turn down the a/c. We felt a little uncomfortable leaving our belongings in the room as there are no full sized lockers - only small lockers in the common area for valuables. The dorm overall wasn't extremely social, mainly due to a large amount of older people who appeared to be locals? Overall, the facilities are okay and pretty clean. I think next time we will try to find a hostel closer to Chinatown and the bay with a younger crowd.

Surprisingly good!!! The guys manning the desk were friendly and helpful. Bathrooms were clean and showered down every night. Aircon in the room was great. Room was 'compact' but adequate to use as a base. Basic breakfast was provided (tea/coffee, toast and spreads) but totally fine as a quick bite to eat before heading out.

Stayed there for 4 nights in total and could leave my luggage there free of charge for the time I've been away. The staff and the vibe is just amazing, as well as the coffee (as a european staying 5 month in Singapore i have to say that a good coffee is not easy to find here and if you find one it's usually quite expensive) and the breakfast overall is absoulutely sufficient. Of course you should not expect the most fancy facilities it's still a backpacker hostel but everything is fine, the rooms are clean and the beds solid. The rooftop terrace doesn't have a breathtaking view or anything but it's super nice to chill out there, have a beer and talk to friends and/or strangers :) Overall 5 stars because it met my expectations. Best to the staff Tobi

This hostel was a bit of a disappointment after the good review I read. Pros: Good breakfast (tea or coffee, toast + spreads and fruit). Pretty close to MRT stations and there are actually a few nice cafes nearby. Rooms were quiet. Cons: Staff seemed quite disorganised, we got charged less than we were meant to and then they later asked for more. There is Top 40 pop music playing in the reception/common areas at all times (might be a pro). Bathrooms not super clean but they're fine. Except there's a shoes off policy so it's a bit gross when the floor is wet. Rooftop terrace is very disappointing but people do seem to hang out up there a bit.

Loved this hostel! Really relaxed atmosphere and staff all very friendly. We stayed in a 10bed female dorm, the dorm was spacious enough, each bed had its own light which was very useful and nice not to keep other people awake. Aircon was great, kept room really cool so light duvet provided by hostel was nice and cosy too. Breakfast was simple, just toast and fruit, but it was yum! They had an array of jams and spreads to choose from and the fruit was abundant and so fresh. Showers were great with hot water. Whole bathroom area was always clean and never had to wait for one to free up. Hostel says it's about 10minute walk from the mrt station which i hoped was an exaggeration but it was about that long which is hard in the hot sun and with heavy bags so bear that in mind. Only…

The sheets were a bit old, the room is pretty small and the toilet was not very clean. But the breakfast was very good and so the positioning as it is 5 minutes walking from green and violet line and 2 minutes from little India (very well connected with all the main spots in the city center). Overall I would say too expensive for a 8 people room.

Stayed here for three nights on my first trip to Singapore. It's easy to get here from the airport (takes about 30 minutes) and is close to the MRT station which makes it easy to get around central Singapore. The staff were friendly and helpful; there's a free breakfast of coffee or tea and toast; and the rooms are clean but small. The bathroom is unisex and could be a little cleaner. I chose this hostel to meet new people but it ended up not being as busy as I expected and the people were not that social. There was no organised activities which was a shame.

My friend and I went for a spontaneous trip to Singapore for some days and luckily we checked in at the green kiwi. Lovely little hostel with a lovely staff. The atmosphere at the hostel is just perfect. Thank you for a very pleasant stay.
