If you are looking for a small, relaxed & friendly place to stay in Singapore, in the central city area convenient to public transport and getting around, this is it! We are a small laid back place to stay where you'll some meet great people and get some sleep!
I stayed there for three nights in January 2016 and had a great time. Breakfast was good and the people who work there are very helpful. Only minor issue would be that the bathrooms coud need some sope.

Friendly and helpful staff sorted out my room as I was arriving late even thought the desk had closed for the night. Breakfast was unreal, proper good coffee, loads of fresh fruit and toast with many toppings. Nice vibe and good beds, girlfriend got a few bites in a line on her leg but reluctant to use the B word. Over would recommend (don't buy zoo/night safari tickets through them, it's cheaper to get them when you arrive at the zoo - unless you want to golf buggy type tour of the zoo...)

Friendly staff and very good breakfast! The rest was okay. The toilets were never cleaned properly and underneath the beds where you're supposed to store your luggage it's very dusty. So your stuff gets dirty really quick. And there was a real strong smell all over the place which was not nice.

It is very comfortable. There are two showers and toilets per floor and in addition to that sinks. I selpt in a room with 20 beds and it was really quiet and everybody was mindful (only about 6beds have been in use). You may choose the kitchen and all the stuff to cook. The breakfast is special. I liked it but I can imagine that there are some people who don't like it. I stayed 4 days at all so it was really ok. Because every morning it's the same breakfast. Toast, peanut butter, salty butter, strawberry jam and a green coconut creme which I liked as well. Additionally you get watermelon, Oranges and dragonfruits and one cup of coffee and as much black tea as you want. As almost every building in Singapore or generally Asia the building is cooled down. I arrived here when I was…

Friendly staff, extremely welcoming and helpful. The hotel is fairly close to a subway station too. The showers work as does the AC . It's exceptionally cheap but quite a way from marina bay, china town etc. The rooms are really, really basic but clean. Typical clients seem to be backpackers and the like.

I really enjoyed staying in Green Kiwi! Breakfast (especially coffee) was really good and the girls working there are really helpful and welcoming. Unfortunately, they do not have a tour guide anymore but we met the old guide who showed us around. As a solo traveller I was happy about the rooftop because you always meet new people there. All in all, green kiwi is really recommendable!

Green Kiwi Hostel in Singapore is the best! The stuff is so helpful and always there if you need something (tips what to do in Singapore, a haircut, an adapter,...) The beds are comfortable, air- conditioned, breakfast included (& the coffee is very good!) and the bathrooms clean.

I liked staying here. The staff are friendly and helpful, the beer is cheap (for Singapore) and the rooftop terrace is a good place to chill out and socialise. There's nothing it can do about the location, which is not great - a long slog to Lavender MRT (at least 20 mins, not counting the numerous road crossings) but slightly closer to Boon Keng MRT. But it can surely do something about the beds. They are so-so in the comfort stakes but my goodness are they rickety! They squeak and rattle if you so much as breath in them - definitely not for the self-conscious! The social scene is hit and miss: there were nights when the rooftop was busy and buzzing, others when it was dead. Luck of the draw really.

Terrible beds, dirty covers, mattresses with springs hitting you and over washed, scratchy, uncomfortable duvet and pillow cases. We were excited to come here after reading all the great reviews! Unfortunately, it wasn't what we expected. We booked a double private room (young couple) - were shown to a tiny room with a bunk bed. There was only room for a bin in the room. Curtain didn't cover window and single glazing on a busy road. Music being played and noise until about 4am. Only come if you're a group looking to go out every night!! Shower is good but again not very clean and very hot in bathroom area! Staff were OK, tried to double charge us for some things but were helpful with directions. Good for big groups looking to go out every night and rooftop area for socialising.…

A great central hostel, with sweet personal. I stayed there for 4 days, till I moved into an apartment, and I met a lot of nice people during my stay. I can really recommend the hostel to both students and backpackers :)
