Everything is clean and well cared for. The free breakfast is served in the chillout area near reception where you can sit and surf the internet during your meal. Extend a bit longer for some free tea and check out all the sightseeing tips the walls are covered in while a member of friendly staff is usually up for a chat. Have some cheap food from close stalls and bring it home to eat on the rooftop couches while you meet others having some beers. Great for solo travelers. Public swimming pool close by which helps in Singapores heat.

Green Kiwi has offered us an amazing stay experience. We had stayed for 3 days in the hostel. We stayed in a small room but that was well above our expectation. The rooms and wash rooms were clean and maintained well. The break fast what they offered was our BRUNCH. The staffs were very cooperative and they helped us to chalk out the visit plans and were suggesting to use the public transport. The common area where you could browse the net, have your break fast and read all the rules and which also is the reception is also an amazing experience as you meet people of different nationalities with different languages and different interest. We would definitely get back to Green Kiwi next time.

The Green Kiwi is in an excellent location, with shops, services and public transport nearby, and places like Little India and Bugis Street only a short bus ride away. It is very hard to locate, though - I spent ten minutes at the intersection outside trying to work out where it was, as there is no sign on the building and it is little more than a green-painted hallway hiding behind some bushes. However, once I made it inside and up the stairs, I felt right at home. Friendly staff, simple bunk bed dorms, respectful roommates who adhered to the policy of being quiet when others are sleeping, a clean bathroom, inside and outside social spaces (the rooftop is lovely at night), free breakfast and staff willing to answer questions. I made some good friends and was sad to leave after…

For starters, I arrived via the nine-dollar airport shuttle from Changi Airport - a great, cheap way to get to the hostel if you don't want to lug your bags on public transit or if you're too late for the train. They have a great system for late check-ins; I was a little worried as I arrived after reception closed, but it was not a problem at all. I was in a six-bed mixed dorm (Room #9) which was fine - there wasn't a lot of space but we made it work. They say their rooms are air conditioned but they don't provide the remotes and there was never any sound coming from our air conditioner; I suspect that our room was actually only moderately cool because the dark curtains were kept closed during the day. There was an indoor bathroom at the end of the hall with sufficient…

Green Kiwi provided amazing hospitality from the moment we arrived to the moment we left! The rooms were always clean and air conditioned. There is so much advice available for things to do in Singapore, you'll never be stuck. They also offer discounts on some of the big attractions! The breakfast is great as well! Would highly recommend!

This hostel was a 10/10! Got voted best hostel in 2016 by Hostelworld and for good reason! The location is right next to 4 bus stops that were a minute walk (our main mode of transportation) and a 5 minute walk from the MRT stop. The rooms have cute red bunk beds that made me feel like a child (in a good way) and the breakfast every morning was fantastic. Fresh coffee from an espresso machine, dragon fruit, oranges, watermelon, and toast with options of jelly, butter, Kaya, Nutella, and peanut butter!bee stayed for 5 nights and I would definitely recommend this place if you're in Singapore, even if just for a couple days.

The staff are super friendly, pleasant and so helpful, enjoyed our super short stay here. The room and toilets are clean, air conditioned room, good working wifi but have limited access at the rooftop. Even the room occupied 8 persons, it is still comfortable enough for us to stay Highly suggested for those who will stay for backpackers in Singapore!!!

We stayed here for 4 nights, and felt it was very good value for Singapore. Close to 2 metro lines, it was straightforward from the airport. Easy to reach main parts of the city from the location. Breakfast was good - decent bread and spreads, fresh fruit and great coffee. 10 bed mixed dorm was comfortable and had enough space for people and luggage. Shared bathrooms were always clean and showers were good (warm and powerful). Staff were all very helpful and friendly. Would certainly stay again.
