I cannot rave enough about this hotel. The staff has been amazing to me since I walked through their front door. As a solo traveler, the staff always make sure I have everything I need in order for me to have the best experience. I am so glad I chose to stay here.

Pretty good. Fancy entrance. Comfortable rooms. Pool and outdoor area is pretty. Little bit on the expensive side compared to Australia, but seemed normal in comparison to others in Singapore. Location is also good. Good walking distance to trains and food.

I rated this experience as a 1. Not because of anything the hotel did specifically, but because of the actual experience I had here. I can not blame the establishment for the visitors it houses. I am a black American, and sad to say I'm used to being discrimated against many times in my life. Even so, being called the N word as I leave the elevator for no reason at all will always bring some discomfort no matter what type of history I've had. It just shows me the state of the world is not just domestic to America but also a world wide phenomenon. Stayed for 5 days , Same Menu of Breakfast Tuesday -Saturday , no change . "Breakfast sets the mood for the day , when on vacation" . Even after requesting to change , Reply we got " International Menu remains same " . No consideration of customer request . Strictly advice to avoid this Hotel for stay.

Ms Tan Ms luna They support us whatever we want. If I have chance to come again SG I will stay again. It was very good experience for our family. Korean staff also here so no need to worry about anyother things. Near by the hotel have local fruit marcket and food court as well. Best experience at the resort, the staff was really helpful and cooperative, the house keeping staff was also really helpful, the food is average, and yeah, it was a good experience for our group during the stay.... Thanks to this front office guy Iengborlang wann he was really helpful and took alot of good sunrise photos of us, thanks again......

This is a lousy hotel with no empathy at all for guests. I had a dinner at Tras street and was not able to find parking around the area, i then decided to park at Orchid Hotel. The system allowed me into the car park even though it is ENTIRELY full. There were 4 reserved lots that were empty and as I reversed into one of the lot, parked my car and left hurriedly for my anniversary dinner. When I came back, my car was wheel clamped and the hotel duty manager - Cindy Yeo demanded for $200 to release the clamp. This is my first time encountering such an issue at this hotel and I pleaded for a pardon, asking them to check their records for my name or car registration number, and Cindy Yeo the duty manager didn't even make an effort to empathize at all and insisted in the charge of…

Dear Chershuie, Thank you for taking the time to write us a review in Tripadvisor and Google Review. We are sorry to learn about your unhappy parking situation and experience with our front office. A thorough internal investigation was conducted upon receiving your review. CCTV footage on 18 Nov 2022 has shown that your vehicle SMU 456D entered our hotel’s carpark at 20:04 and the LED vehicle counting system at the entrance indicated that the carpark was full. Do allow us to address the comments you have made concerning the incident: 1. “The system allowed me into the car park even though it is ENTIRELY full.” – We have allowed vehicles to enter the carpark as this is to facilitate drivers who are unable to reverse their vehicles to loop around and drive out the exit. This is also to allow owners of the reserved spaces such as long staying guests of the hotel to enter the carpark. 2. “4 reserved lots that were empty” – The reserved spaces have been marked out and are meant for authorised vehicles only. It is common by-laws that parking is subject to availability of parking space and all drivers are reasonably expected to park in designated parking lots. 3. “my car was wheel clamped and the hotel duty manager - Cindy Yeo demanded for $200 to release the clamp” – There is a huge “No Parking” signage with clear indication “Except Authorised Vehicles Only” and “Unauthorised or illegally parked vehicles will be Wheel-Clamped” with “Release Fee: S$200” on the pillar beside the reserved spaces. Drivers are expected to comply with the signage exhibited and park their vehicles at the designated parking lots. Vehicles found to be in violation shall be immobilised by means of wheel clamping as indicated. 4. “rigid in their policy and is a place for a guest trap, allowing cars into the car park even though it is full at peak hours, waiting for a victim to park in their reserved lot and then waiting to pounce on you to charge a release 'admin' fee” – Our car park system is the same as that of most private carparks in Singapore. Vehicles are allowed to enter into the carpark has been clearly explained in Point 1. The hotel needs not resort to such measures to earn revenue. 5. “no empathy at all for guests” – The hotel has on countless occasions shown empathy to guests/visitors with valid reasons and provided them with the best support possible. However, we are unable to waive off your penalty in this instance as you have knowingly disregarded the by-laws relating to parking on a reserved space. We take all feedback seriously and will work hard to ensure better measures are in place to avoid similar incidents from occurring. Thank you and stay safe!

I had a very nice stay at the orchid hotel, with a great location and a great room. The personnel was very gentle and helpful as well. On the downside, it was a pity that the gym was under renovation and the connection to the wifi kept on asking me to login.
