Me and my friends stayed here for a few hours just to sleep and clean ourselves, but we had good experience here. The receptionist was reasonable enough to not charge us any additional fee for extra person as there were 3 of us and the...More
Hotel is nice and decent lighting. Wifi is great and cool receptionist. Our complain is that we had a doubt that bed sheets ain't changed. And we had to wait until 3. 30 for check in since room ain't ready. No water dispenser
Calm environment in a central location. Not so crowded hotel. Big-sized, cozy rooms for a good price with a mini fridge. Wifi can sometimes have a poor connection but otherwise not complaining much about it.
Have a really bad experience on the services of the hotel! Although the location and price is convinience however the stuff is really rude and racis. The air con is full of dust which is very dirty, old building with stinky smelly path way..... during...More
The location is quite far from tiong bharu station, around 20 minutes walk, but the place is quiet and relaxing. Staff are nice and very accommodating. Room is big and and spacious. wifi is kinda horrible though.

Home to both local families and transient expats, Tiong Bahru is a fascinating mix of tradition and youthful creativity. Its status as a conservation area ensures that this little hub has charm and heritage on display at every corner, while the 1930s art deco architecture provides a glimpse of days gone by. Stock up on fresh tropical fruits at the wet market, browse high quality literature and children’s books, shop for
interesting gifts and local fashion, or munch on bargain-priced hawker food as the aroma of frying noodles and fresh-brewed coffee wafts through the air. Cap your day with a massage and a latte, a glass of wine, or a pain au chocolat from one of the many busy bakeries. An afternoon in this vibrant and beautiful neighbourhood is not to be missed.

There is a wet market with a wonderful large food court on the second floor. There are more than 50 kitchens, so you have lots of choices for breakfast. And the price is very reasonable. It is one block from the Hotel. There are also a few fancier restaurants close by if a food court isn't your style.
It is a 10 to 15 min walk to the closest MRT Station.
