I wish I could give this a higher rating. However I did not get any sleep for my whole stay. The walls are way too thin. I could hear the people in the room next doors tv until 3am and I don’t think the guests upstairs ever slept as there were constant loud footsteps and banging coming from above. Also there is no soundproofing between your room and the corridor so everything can be heard. The facilities are great. The rooms come with a comfy bed and small kitchenette. There is also free laundry facilities, which is great. I think I would have enjoyed my stay a lot more if the soundproof in the building was upgraded.

This is our first time staying at a Heritage Collection hotel and our experience at this new hotel has been great. We had the opportunity to stay in different types of rooms as we had an extended stay but couldn't get the preferred room type in one booking. The designs of the rooms and common areas are pleasant. Each room (even of the same type) has a slightly different layout, in order to make the best of the space in a beautifully restored heritage building. While some of the rooms which we have stayed were quite small, they are all functional and have adequate power sockets and double-switch for the lights. Wifi connection is also good. With fully equipped kitchenettes in all rooms and the convenience of washing machine in selected rooms and at each floor, the rooms truly feel like home. Our favourite room type is the Premium Loft which has a nice river view. Pleasant sounds of the cathedral bells could also be heard ocasionally. The Premium Loft is also cleverly designed, giving it a more spacious feel. What make our stay really manificent is the team at this hotel who have looked after us very well. Even though there is no "check in" desk, each guest is well connected to the team via a Whatsapp chat group and the team is very prompt in attending to our requests. All messages are replied in less than 5 mins! Not to mention they are all so patient and tried their best to meet our special requests. Also special mention to Jarwin for promptly attending to a problem with our room and finding alternatives when the problem could not be fixed. He kept us updated regularly which helps to assure us. The rest of the team (Syasya, Mubien, Veronika and Heera) are also great in helping to make our stay really pleasant! The common areas and the rooms are very clean. The once a week housekeeping for stays of at least 7 nights is really thorough. Good job to the housekeeping team too!…
