Pretty disappointed with the accommodation. We got there and the first thing we noticed was the noise. I went and asked to be moved to another room but as they were full they weren't able to do it until the next day which was fine. We were told to leave our bags during the day and they would move them.... More

Stayed 4 times in single room without window. 1. Small and cozy. 2. Daily housekeeping services 3. friendly staff that serves with a smile 4. 3-5min to MRT /Bus Stops 5. Convenient to grab light bites/heavy meal (suggest to walk further to MRT exit B for cheaper & better food)

I read some of the recent reviews regarding the size of the room being very small so I upgraded to a Deluxe, the bed was rock hard the bed linen looked extremely old, the shower runs into the barroom making the floor soaking wet (and its not a wet room) No coffee making facilities in the room but they do... The Hotel is all red. We stay in a Deluxe with Queen bed At first I was surprised by the size of the room, The smallest one I ever stay, too small for two. Also, It smells wet in room. But the staff, service and location are quite great.

This hotel is located at a great location, right at the center of Chinatown. The hotel is a little bit small but all required facilities are there. Staff is very friendly, the room rate is good for staying in Singapore for a couple of days. Strongly recommend for others.

This hotel had everything needed for an overnight stay. Security was good, the staff were pleasant and helpful, the airconditioning was quiet and effective, and the hotel was located in the middle of Chinatown with plenty of food stalls close by. Our room, however, was very small and basic. The double bed was hard and so squeezed into an alcove that... More

great for maybe overnight or 2 days but we stayed 5 nites - location excellent - close to street food and train network that beats Melbourne hands down - but we felt we were in our campervan with a shower and toilet - soooooo tiny / narrow. Staff were great so no issues there but is a shame Singapore thinks... More

Hotel location is great. Room is quite comfy and its size is reasonable (for Singapore hotels). It also came with free breakfast which is great. The only downside is, due to its location, the noise surrounding the hotel. Please request for room that facing the quiet street

Staying in Chinatown

Neighbourhood Profile
Chinatown
Chinatown is a classic combination of colourful sights, enticing smells, and sometimes startling sounds. The precinct is unique, however, in its blending of religions and cultures. A Hindu temple, an Islamic mosque, and a Chinese Buddhist temple sit almost side by side. This sense of cultural harmony continues as you venture just outside of Chinatown to the nightlife areas of Club Street and Duxton Hill. There you’ll mingle with Singapore’s multicultural residents at the modern bars and restaurants dotting the bustling streets. An afternoon in and around Chinatown will leave you culturally enlightened, well fed, and loaded with souvenirs. In the evening, reward yourself with a well-deserved cocktail as the locals come out to play.
