Location is spot on,close by to bus stops and MRT. The staff are so friendly and will answer any questions! Breakfast is a bonus, beds are comfy and showers are nice and hot (if you want). The only negative about my stay was inconsiderate noisy people in my room but that has nothing to do with the hostel so overall 12/10 stay

Stayed here for 6 days in a private room. The overall experience was okay, breakfast okay, very Nice staff and a good and comfortable bed. The reason im only giving it 2 stars is because the Place is just not clean. You are not allowed to wear shoes inside, which would be okay, just not when the floor is so dirty that your feet becomes all Black. The toilets and baths are old and dirty, there are no working locks (which is a problem especially because the bathrooms are shared by both men and woman) and the wifi is not working at all. AND there are no hot water in the showers unless you take a bath early in the morning. The location is good though, you Can walk to any attractions nearby.

Nice Hostel near the center, it was easy to access, The staff is lovely and helpful they arrange for me a late Check in (3am) with useful instruction. Clean inside, I didn't face the time to try the rooftop :( The breakfast is ok (just few stuff to avoir leaving with nothing in the belly). Great value for a short and cheap stay in Singapore.

I stayed at the Rucksack Inn for one night while on Singapore. The hostel is very clean and air conditioned, and there is water always available and a decent breakfast. It's a quiet hostel with families / school groups as guests, so not the most social as a solo traveller looking to make friends. The location is also a little far from the downtown area but if you have an unlimited transport pass this isn't an issue. Also very easy to get to and from the airport. The beds in the dormitories are pod style.

Place is clean and staff are friendly especially Lyonne. She works in the night shift and attended to my enquiries promptly. Air conditioning can get a bit cold and blanket a bit thin though so remember to bring enough clothes to keep you warm.
