The club and facilities are fine and improving, but the service at Camden Hill Restaurant has been awful for too long now. They forgot my order twice today and tried to blame it on a lack of staff due to COVID, even though the problem of inexperienced restaurant staff has been around since before then. If this carries on, the club might continue to lose more members. Disappointing.
Words cannot express how terrible this club is, apart from being an absolute con with its ridiculously high membership fee is, the quality of food and service is shocking. I could go on, but if u really want to know more about our experience with this so called club then I would happily explain further in a DM.
My husband and I chose Hollandse Club mainly for the sporting facilities and slightly larger rooms and we were not disappointed. The tennis courts are great, swimming pool is amazing - fantastically clean and the gym is also great. The rooms are spacious and the bed extremely comfortable. We found all the staff very helpful and friendly. The only thing that stopped us rating this 5 * was the slightly slow service in the restaurant but other than that, well done Hollandse. Very enjoyable stay.
I had a really fun time at the Dutch (Hollandse) club, the pool is was a nice temperature. The pool had a diving board which was a lot of fun. Some of the staff tho were quite rude. The food was alright it was the type of food that you could get sick of if you ate is all the time. The rooms are quite basic but nice and clean the beds were also really comfortable. They are lots of really fun clubs and activities to be apart of. To become a member it is quite expensive but to stay for the night it is cheap. Also, the best time to go to the pool is when it's late at night when there is no one around.
I just love hanging out here. We are a member but as none members you can come to the restaurant. Just a cool place to hang out and meet up with friends. You can organise kids parties here also. As a member you can use the gym and have a swim.
Held our Xmas D&D at the Hollandse Club. Jaxs and her team were amazing from start to finish and helped organize absolutely everything and dealt with our (constantly changing) requirements with such ease it has made a number of people at work want top hold every work party at the Hollandse Club. On the night, the staff at the club were amazing, food very tasty, entertainment a big hit and drinks plentiful (but not over the top). I cannot recommend the Hollandse Club enough - great venue and wonderful staff.
We were visiting family who live in Singapore. The accommodation and facilities are good. However some staff were very rude indeed to our family when they were visiting us and this spoiled the whole stay. We were very upset and disappointed. Customer service and a welcoming attitude sorely lacking.
Rooms are small. Good for a single person. Aircon and hot water works well! They have free WiFi. Also have a really good gym and swimming pool. Quite a busy place. Lots going on. Leon at the front desk was very helpful!
Jax Bistro is overpriced (especially for Club food) and often lackluster. The satay is paltry, the greek mezzo platter is limp and contrived, the build-your-own salads are a complete rip off (that nickel and dime you for every ingredient), the Asian dishes are meager and size but great in price. The Italian style pizzas are the only lunch item worth eating.
Came here alone on a business trip so was definitely not a leisure focused stay, but regardless felt like I had to comment on it because it was wonderful to see such a nice ambience between family and friends with all the facilities gym, pool, tennis courts etc. Have to disagree with most when it comes to accommodation, stayed in room 11 (which I believe are newly furbished rooms) Excellent conditions, perfect room and just overall wonderful stay. Thank you very much :)
