Our experience with this Hotel is they got our booking wrong. Twin beds ordered. We got to our room and had 1 king bed. We find out upgrade for Honey mooners. I was with a friend not a husband. We then got our twin room. Big dirty marks on carpet. Two small single beds. No teaspoons, just very small plastic things. No restaurant. Breakfast was ok. No teaspoons again. Had to ask for our coffee. Certainly looks different from pictures on their site. We should of taken the King bed room. Huge space. The hall was colder than our room. We tried to crank up air conditioner but it kept us cool but you sure could feel difference when went out our door. Bathroom was ok for cleaning. Could see tiles bottom of shower grim.

Hotel's Favourite
Opted for isolation and was posted here. The room surpassed all my expectations - bright, very well-maintained, comfortable bed with thick duvet. Surprisingly good soundproofing. Air purifier that works. And I was glad that the toilet was spanking clean (better than some 5 star hotels in Singapore). They even provided a brand new toilet brush (wrapped) and Cif. Best of all was the daily call from Simie, the front desk officer. On my first day she called 3x just to make sure everything’s ok. Requests were promptly attended to and questions answered. I’m thankful for all the care and concern. Thank you Simie. I’d gladly recommend this hotel for its location, good rooms and great service.

We lucked out and received a complimentary upgrade to the junior suite! Thank you very much to the amazing guest service executive, Ms Shalini! The room was clean and very comfortable, and it comes with a bathtub, which our toddler enjoyed. The hotel is at a great location and really value-for-money since it's near the mrt station, close to Plaza Singapura mall, multiple eateries and downtown. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone is looking for a nice and affordable hotel.

Very nice hotel . Friendly staff. For 11 th floor breakfast poor presentation and variety. I didn’t figured out how to use the toaster without burning my bread. Not many chooses for breakfast. Great benefits in the afternoon. Nice pool. Great cleaning services

Nice room with everything you need. Huge shower, comfortable bed and quiet despite our room facing busy road. Excellent location with MRT around the corner and good access to cafe's and Restaurants within 5 min walking distance. Highly recommended as the price is also reasonable for Singapore.

Great location, lovely hotel, but terrible food. We booked the club room, hoping for something really nice to finish our 7 weeks travelling in Europe. Unfortunately it was very below average and we have stayed at many hotels with club rooms. Breakfast was awful, no real choice and all the food was cold. The club room canapés were also terrible, so much so we didn’t eat the food. Stale and cold. We skipped breakfast the 2nd morning and went elsewhere. Disappointing and wouldn’t stay again.

From the moment we stepped into the hotel until the moment we left, the service has been impeccable. I was travelling with 80 year old ladies who had only the best memories of their very comfortable 3 night stay. The staff were very helpful and proactive in ensuring that all needs and requests are provided for. The breakfast buffet spread, though not extensive, is well thought through with enough varieties to satisfy.

If you look through the so called ‘better’ hotels in Singapore you’ll find that many of them are double or more than double the price of the Rendevous. I’ll say at the outset that the hotel is somewhat ‘tired’ in places but some of the recent reviews ( including the one which mentions a rat infested reception) are without justification. The check in was fine and thanks go to Mr Dean, the duty manager who looked after us admirably. The room was fine. Not huge but big enough. A large flat screen tv, a comfortable bed with quality linen and pillows, a view of the city skyline, a safe, gowns, tea and coffee etc. A great plus is that the hotel is almost on top of the Bencoolen MRT with easy access to everything. Would we go back? You bet! We’re booked in on or return visit to Singapore following our European vacation…
