I have stayed in my fair share of Acorr hotels, and I think that generally speaking, Novotel are the worst value for money. Clarke Quay was no exception. The staff were ok, the rooms were small. The building was old, rooms were old, everything just seemed tired. It was, however in a good location, Clarke Quay is bustling with a...

Dear always_Itchy_feet27, Thank you for sharing your thoughts on your stay with us last July 2013. While I am pleased to read that you appreciated the convenient location of the hotel and enjoyed the pulsating night life at Clarke Quay, I am sorry that your experience with us fell below your expectations. You will be glad to know that we...

A 45 minutes (Yes Forty Five Minutes) wait to be checked in is a bad start for a stay at any hotel. Long queues and only two staff, where were the management?. We booked two rooms with an offer the hotel had where children under 14 had a room at a discount. When I asked if the children’s room would...

Dear waiheke, Thank you for choosing to stay with us again during your trip to Singapore and for taking the time out to send us your feedback. I am deeply concerned about the unfortunate circumstances of your recent stay at the hotel. However, please allow me to clarify that while our check-in time is at 2.00pm, our reception team practice...

This hotel is located just off clarke quay-its a bit of a walk to the nearest MRT but its located just off the clarke quay area and is teeming with restaurants. The rooms are quite big -check in and check out took a while but well singapore is just booming with tourism and business and this does reflect in how...

A surprisingly great hotel with an even better location-a few steps away from Clarke Quay & within easy reach of the main attractions & public transport. Rooms are a good size considering what other hotel rooms are like in Singapore, we had an amazing view of the Marina Bay Sands & the Flyer. Breakfast was well stocked with plenty of...

We spent 8 days at Clarke Quay and had a wonderful time. Our daughter came as a surprise for her dad's 60th and the Novotel upgraded her to the same floor as us. The staff are lovely, always cheerful from the porters, to cleaners, to wait staff and front reception. Patricia at the Le Rouge bar is delightful and a...

Stayed for 3 nights at Novotel Clarke Quay in May this year. We were very impressed with the overall standard of our stay. The hotel is a 20 minute drive from the airport which cost us roughly S$30 in a taxi although you can catch the MRT train system for much less. Our room was on the 21st floor and...

Staying in The Quays

Neighbourhood Profile
The Quays
From Marina Bay, a walk along Singapore River will take you through the three Quays of the city, each offering a very different atmosphere. Boat Quay features historical sites and a buzzing riverfront vibe. Clarke Quay caters to the party crowd, while Robertson Quay appeals to the leisurely wanderer. Weekends at Robertson Quay and Martin Road also give a peek into the lives of expats in Singapore, as the riverfront teems with joggers, dog walkers, and those getting their caffeine fix over brunch or enjoying a burger and a beer. No matter what you’re up for, the three Quays have something to keep you happy, day or night.
