Guests have lauded the hotel for its rigorous cleanliness and luxurious amenities, including the acclaimed Haus65 access and the panoramic pool.

Hotel's Favourite
Let me tell you from the moment we arrived, the service and hospitality at Mandarin Oriental, Singapore were exceptional, with every detail thoughtfully curated to create a seamless and immersive luxury experience. House 65 was the highlight, offering impeccable service and a dining experience that beautifully told the story of Singapore’s rich culinary heritage. MO Bar impressed with its sophisticated ambiance and Singapore-infused cocktails, while the spa, pool, and every interaction with the team reinforced a level of warmth and professionalism that made us feel truly valued. This hotel doesn’t just offer luxury—it brings the essence of Singapore to life in every moment. What an experience!!!

Our family's experience at Mandarin Oriental Singapore was very positive. Our reservation was only for my husband and me, but due to some issues, our 2 sons were unable to fly out from Singapore to Australia the day we were checking in at the hotel. It was past midnight when it was clear our sons will need a hotel room for 1-2 nights. I called the hotel from Changi and the Front Desk staff understood our predicament and helped us find appropriate accommodations for our family of 4 on such short notice. It was 2am by the time we got to the hotel. Both the Front Desk staff and Housekeeping worked with us upon our arrival to ensure all our needs were met. I wish I got the name of the Front Desk staff who assisted us. She was very professional and customer-centric! Thanks to the Mandarin Oriental staff for taking care of our family.

A lot to digest? Read an AI-generated summary of recent traveller reviews.
MO Singapore is probably the best hotel to stay in whilst in Singapore. It is well located and, subject to my comments about the construction work, is well located with great views over Marina Bay ( if you chose a Marina Bay room). The rooms are well appointed and the staff are very helpful. The spa is excellent.
Overall, it is good value for Singapore, and we will return to the hotel next year when we stopover en route to Cambodia. We visited other hotels whilst in Singapore (such as Raffles which us just brimming with tourists trying to look around, the Fullerton which feels rather austere, MBS which is just huge and doesn’t feel like a hotel) and in our opinion MO Singapore is the best.
So, why didn’t I rate MO Singapore 5 stars? I deducted a star for the following:
- chaotic breakfast service: this has been mentioned in other reviews. It’s hectic and not well organised. Guests keep bumping into each other trying to locate the right buffet section. Despite a huge selection, it’s surprising that some things that you expect are missing like freshly squeezed fruit juices and a better selection of fresh fruits - eg mango which is available on request and at a supplement. Also, it finishes quite early. We got there late on our last day ( we had been trying to make a booking for a future visit which took over 30 mins to make - not sure why!) - just after 10.30 and they were already dismantling the buffet.
- the construction site- the hotel really should warn guests about this. It does detract from the otherwise amazing views but luckily you can’t hear anything from the bedrooms. It just looks awful. However, it’s a different story from the hotel’s swimming pool and terrace ( and presumably if you dined at Dolce Vita). We wanted to relax by the pool whilst staying but you couldn’t unless you had ear plugs. There was constant background noise from the huge construction site. So we didn’t bother which is a shame because that’s partly why we chose the hotel. I think the hotel needs to be upfront about this on their website. No one seems to know anything about the construction project but this is presumably why in future the Marina Bay Club rooms will be on the higher floors ( floor 11 and above) so that their view will not be obstructed?

For a price of 1500 SGD/night in Suite 2037, you would expect clothes to be cleaned in less than 27 hours. In addition, the room was completely uncleaned and really dirty on the second to last day. Complaints are listened to, but ignored. Apologies=none. It was funny on December 5th, 2023 at 6 p.m. that there was drilling and hammering in the next room. Unfortunately, I will no longer frequent this hotel.

My stay at the MOSIN was exceptional as usual. While the upgraded hardware continues to shine (figuratively and literally), it is the little personal touches from the team that makes this one of the great (vs. just good) establishments. The team at Embu is incredible. It may be a humble breakfast service but they put their heart and soul to it. Although I have been absent from the property for a while, the Embu team is still able to remember my preferences - offering me a side of berries, proactively getting me a extra large bowl when they saw my breakfast contents spilling over, and preparing the perfect cup of oat milk cappuccino! Lunch at Dolce Vita was equally wonderful - the pastas are equal to the best in Italy and the service even better. It has an enviable location: diners are able to look out to the tropical swimming pool while enjoying the air-conditioned comfort of the beautiful dining room. Everyone is kind and cheerful and accommodating - from the doorman who offered me an umbrella in case I meet with the notorious Monsoon, to the front desk associates who make me feel at home even before I am formally checked in. This is why I continue to be a FAN after so many years!

What sets this place apart is how they anticipate your needs before you even realize them. The room was always impeccably maintained, the public spaces were inviting yet peaceful, and the staff had this incredible ability to be attentive without hovering. The breakfast buffet was extensive and fresh, and the evening service at the bar was equally impressive.

We have just returned from 12 days at the recently refurbished Mandarin Oriental. Having stayed here several times previously I can clearly state that the refurbishment has been a great success. The modern colour palate works well throughout the hotel. The foyer is much more airy and welcoming than previously and encourages you to pause and make use of the seating area. The bedrooms have been refurbished in a warm blue tone and the bathrooms are a great improvement on their rather tired dated predecessors. They also feel larger though I am not sure if the actual footprint is any different. We stayed in a Marina Bay view room with access to the Haus 65 club room. While the general arrangement of the club room has not changed much the new furnishings and decor give the club a more generally friendly, rather than business focused, vibe. Of course what really makes the Mandarin Oriental special is the quality of the staff. Everyone in the club room was extremely friendly but special thanks to Sera and Jeff who went out of their way to make us welcome and accommodate our requests. Also a special thanks for the unexpected birthday treats that I received during my stay and the free tickets to the Singapore Criterium. I will forever be able to say 'I was there' when Mark Cavendish won his final professional bike race. We ate at both Embu and Mortons during our stay and the food and service was very good in both outlets. The MO bar has an eclectic range of cocktails and is well worth a visit even if you are not resident in the hotel. Overall we had an excellent holiday here and hope to stay again in what is undoubtable the best hotel in Singapore.

After thinking about a few places, the Renaissance was also going on and breakfast was the best, so I got here.
The bathroom and the room were spacious enough, and the mbs and the view of the room was satisfying.
The hotel staff was very friendly and allowed to stay comfortably throughout the stay.
During the turn-down service, the pillow also prepared a good tea to drink at night, and the fun changed every day.
Bedding is just one of my favorite big, too soft beds, so I slept well.
The curtains have to be hit by hand, but the dark blinds can be freely manipulated by the button next to the bed, so the bottom is only slightly opened so you can know the morning. I like to give a lot of pillows, but I also like to put my legs up and embrace them. (These cushions are gone behind the turn-down service, and if you open the closet, it's up there.)
There were numerous delicious foods at the breakfast buffet, but it was delicious in cheddar, so the kayatostrum and fresh orange juice were the best. The fishballs were also delicious, and you can get waffles at the pancakes.
Right next to the mall, you can easily get to the subway station, mall, and hotel through the mall. (The mall is wide and a bit complicated.
There are many shops inside the mall and convenient.
The pool is not very large, but the view is very great, so I would recommend you to enjoy the pool.
The cabin is also well equipped, there is a fan on the cabin and a curtain (?) is also available so it is not very hot.

We chose MO as our choice of wedding venue. Was really impressed with their service during venue hunting. Our wedding co-ordinator Sharlyn is with us from the start of planning till the wedding day. She is always there to answer all our questions and accommodating to all our needs and requests for the wedding. Really thankful for her in making sure our wedding was a wonderful experience.
Would also like to thank the banquet manager Oscar and his team in ensuring the banquet went smoothly. Our guests complimented that the staff were very attentive to their needs and food served was timed nicely.
Thank you to AV assistant Ismin for ensuring our photo montage, video montage and songs played were great and had no technical difficulties. He even suggested a play a photo slideshow while guests were having food.
Thank you to chef yong, chef tan and his team for the wonderful food served. All the guests complimented the food was one of the best they had.
Special thanks to our bridal assistant Alice for helping with the gown, following the bride around and taking care of the small little details (eg giving a straw to ensure bride makeup is not smudged, ensuring food is packed and served to the room for couple to eat after the banquet). Really thankful MO provided this service as it really takes a lot of stress off on the actual day.
Would also like to commend on the friendly reception staff and valet staff, always smiling and welcoming us.
If you are considering MO as your wedding destination, we would highly recommend as we are very very happy with the service provided. Do look for Sharlyn if you would like to plan your wedding. 😊😊
