I was there for an associate lunch with friends. Food was alright but there are a few dish which is worth mentioning. If you are there for their ala carte buffet, do try their roast pork, Kurobota Char siew, seafood bag which has many crustaceans inside, laksa altbough the rest are just standard. Indian dish is pretty "salty".In terms of service, we were very contented and happy that we are well attended despite seeing "shortage" of staffs. Kevin and Steven did a great job by consistently looking after our table as well as others. Will be back again.
Having always been a fan of the property, imagine my delight when they introduced the Work From Hotel package... All day, free flowing drinks and fast wifi! What more would we need? I ordered some snacks and plonked myself down in a comfy corner and Mr Haidar gave me 5-Star service as he comes around to check if I needed a top up of my drinks without being intrusive of my space and concentration... Thank you!
First and last visit at Grand Copthorne due to the sounds in the room. The elevators can ve heard in several rooms. This I know since I just changed room and I can still hear the elevators. Although, in my previous room next to the elevator it sounded as if an air plane was gona land as the room even shivered a bit. I changed for another room and I can still hear it and now I also have the guy staying in the room above me blowing his nose several times and I can hear him walking around in his room. Worst sound proofing ever!! Friendly staff and very helpful but will defiantly not stay here again and I don’t know how I will manage the coming 2 nights here..... I sincerely ask you not to stay here.
Everything was great specially the Room. Finished my SHN here and the staff always made sure my requests were satisfied and I have no complaints about whatsoever. The infrastructure of the Hotel is Amazing!
Forgot to mention that on my 2nd day there was a tiny cockroach on dressing table. I can clearly hear my neighbor room when they turn on the bath tub tap. Aircond is also noisy at certain time of the day. Otherwise good view from hotel room.
