This hotel is in a good location for all attractions as there is MRT close by. Lau Pa Sat hawker centre a short walk, great for trying a range of street foods, but remover to take some napkins/wipes for your hands!! Unfortunately our start here was difficult as after 24 hours travelling and arriving early morning, the hotel refused to let us into our rooms till 2pm (even though they were ready) unless we paid an extra $150 which seemed very expensive don’t mind a small extra charge but that was ridiculous and staff not very helpful. Apart from this though, the rest was ok.

The location of the hotel is very centralized right in the heart of the city at Anson Road near Tanjong Pagar MRT station. I came here for the Appreciation lunch held in conjunction with the Health Ambassador Day organized by the Health Promotion Board (HPB). The function was held at the Ballroom Suite at Level 10 of the hotel. I do not have any impression coming to this hotel previously.
The lobby area outside the function room is quite spacious for activity booths to be set up. I participated in the caricature and the memory games. I noticed the hotel staff started opening the refreshment counter and serving the guests with beverages and party nuts snacks. It was very thoughtful of the hotel staff and timely to serve some snacks before the actual event begins.
M Hotel also impressed me with their culinary arts. I was expecting some traditional Chinese eight course lunch but it was western fine dining instead. The waitresses served us coffee, English breakfast tea and beverages instead of Oolong or Puer tea. A box containing one extraordinarily big pie and one muffin meant to be an appetiser was placed on every seat as a welcoming gift, a very well thought gesture by the hotel.
The first dish - the Classic Trio Wild Mushroom Soup served with Freshly baked Bread was superb. The soup was flavorful with rich mushroom taste. I have not tasted such enriching mushroom soup and the flavor still lingers in my mouth while munching the bread roll spread with the butter.
The main dish - the Over-Baked Chicken Roulade served with Grilled Seasonal Vegetables & Loaded Mash Potato, topped with Black Pepper Sauce was also a culinary masterpiece. Very presentable and stomach filling. Like the tantalising Chicken Roulade. Also realized that the thick skin of the lemon fruit was creatively grilled as part of the vegetable ingredients.
For the last dish, I found the Eggless Pineapple Cake served with Salted Caramel Sauce and Fresh Berries for the Vegetarian menu tasted better and less sweet than the Expresso Tirmisu with Fresh Berries.
I know for sure that HPB has given their inputs on the amount of salt, additives or sugar to be added into the dishes. I felt very safe consuming these dishes. Nevertheless, the credit goes to the chef of M Hotel.
I like the lunch dishes!

Great environment with good service and tasty food.
Variety of food is pretty wide. Food is fresh. Service staff are friendly and helpful.
Staff constantly came to clear used plates, ensuring we were well served and looked after.

We did a staycation recently at their Nautical Themed Suite. We got a top floor suite which was one of the biggest ones we have stayed in SG. The layout was spacious and the kids really enjoyed their lovely kidztopia themed bed. When we entered the room, we had cakes and macarons waiting, the drinks in the fridge were included and free and we were able to go to the club lounge anytime for drinks too. Alcoholic drinks were served to adults from 6pm to 8pm at the club lounge and we had a champagne bottle sent to our room as well. Included in our suite price was afternoon tea served in the club lounge and also evening canapes served in our rooms. The food was SUBSTANTIAL! We really didn't need to eat lunch and dinner. (We ate before we went for the tea and evening canapes) Amanda was the main person looking after us at the club lounge and she's lovely. Thank you Amanda for the hospitality! Let's talk about amenities, my children enjoyed the Jacuzzi tub in the room. That tub was huge! You can probably fit 2 adults inside very comfortably. The one thing we thought needed improvement was the musty smell of the carpet immediately outside the toilet. But I imagine, with kids and the jacuzzi tub, it's probably very hard to keep the carpet outside dry? The swimming pool in the hotel was very small. There was only a small area that was shallow and it goes to 2m deep at the end. There's also 2 jacuzzis at the swimming pool area. When we were there on the last day, one of it looked dirty. Not sure if it gets cleaned often. The buffet breakfast here is yummy. The selection is not as much as some other hotel, but they have all the important things like Chinese, Japanese, Indian cuisines and the usual continental breakfast items. I would skip the buffet lunch/dinner promo - there is a lot of people eating at the buffet here and the good food gets taken so fast, we keep seeing baked oysters on other people's plates but were never fast enough to take 1 to try. I like a leisurely buffet so if you are like me, then skip the buffet lunch/dinner here. If you do want to go for buffet anyway, they got a really sweet deal now (not sure for how long) and it's really worth the price especially if your kids enjoy seafood. Overall, we did enjoy our stay a lot. If looking for a staycation place, this place is very nice!

M-Club was excellent especially the staff. Kitztopic was great fun with plenty of variety to keep our 4year old more than happy for 3hrs The room theme & set-up was great but for the price it needs to have some small item repairs & upgrades such as TV needs Netflix or a channel to access choice movies, programs for kids as it only has terrestrial stations Main bathroom needs new mastic seals around bath & walls as the existing is cracked & mouldy in places. Bath tap to the shower leaks Bathroom had a sewage smell even when water was poured into all drain covers

Held my wedding at M Hotel on 6 January 2024. Stayed in the Suite Room for 3D2N.
Firstly, would like to give my compliments to Ms Joey Mah who was our Hotel liaison and sales rep. She was extremely responsive to our multiple questions over WhatsApp/Call, and never failed to help us solve all our issues, even helping us with our last min changes... It was because of her professionalism and service support that we had a smooth wedding dinner for all 200+ guests. We even say her pop by after office hours standing by the door to observe everything was in place and running smooth.
Our banquet IC Chanel was also a great help, never failing to ensure the bride was supported up stage at every moment, and carefully ensuring every detail of our sequence flow was carefully carried out.
The wedding venue was impressive yet very affordable. Hall and lightings were grand, sound system was great, and very importantly many guests gave feedback that the food was nice and in large portions.
Suite room was comfortable and extremely clean for a carpeted room, jacuzzi bathtub was HUGE equipped with very hot water and strong jacuzzi which elevated our whole newly-wed experience!
Overall, I must say that we are thoroughly impressed with the experience and grateful for all the support from M Hotel staff. Top-notch indeed!

Had booked this hotel for a 3 nights stay-over. I got a room on the 18th floor. The room was situated at the street side and a lot of noise from the traffic was audible in the room. Soon started to annoy me. I put in my earplugs trying to fall asleep, but that didn’t help much, so I couldn’t get any decent sleep. Next day I asked for a quieter room. It took some time at the reception to check if possible and get the new room organized. The new room was at the 24th floor and on the other side of the hotel. My hope getting this time a decent sleep vanished straight after opening the door. Turned out the room was situated facing the highway with even more traffic noise. On top of that there was a construction side close by where they worked 24/7. So, trucks coming and going all the time having the warning signal on each the time when backing up. That signal carried into my room very clearly even more annoying than the traffic noise. So situation was even more worse. In the morning I checked out. Initially the wanted to charge me for the fully booked period, but after some discussion they just charged me for the first two nights. The only thing positive was the comprehensive breakfast, but that one is quite expensive too. The bed cushions (there are 4 of them) are too thick. I guess between 20 and 25 cm thick. If one sleeps on its side than the cushion should be letting your head rest in a position that it levels with your back bone. With these it was forced into a big angle resulting in neck pain in the morning. What I don't understand is the reason for having 4 bed cushions. The hotel motivates people not to ask to exchange the towels every day out of view on the environment. Then why putting in 4 cushions which require the covers to be cleaned daily (?) as well ? And then, one is already too thick to rest on. If you just have 4 cushions for the appearance, then better to have a mix with thinner ones. Logically speaking 4 thinner ones makes more sense to me. If people like thick ones (I cannot imagine, but anyway) then can put two on top of each other.

I see no problem with this. Although a "business" hotel with lots of meetings/seminars etc going on for tourists it is relaxed. But smart shorts are good!
There are more places to choose from in the Singapore area.
