Reception staff are very accomodating and approachable. They are very helpfull to guests and always have smile in their face. The reception facility is easy to access by do it yourself type which is faster and no hastle.

The staff is what makes this hotel worth staying at Hotel itself is quite dated. Bathroom is very outdated as well We stayed on the Executive Floor and the decor and condition does not shout ''Executive" at all The TV only has 1 English channel. Has Netflix but we could not login as an upgrade was required which the hotel staff couldnt help with Swimming pool is quite old and gym is basic. Have to walk through a passage of guest rooms to access swimming pool and gym However, inspite of all that we would come back again because the staff are exceptional, especially kitchen staff and executive lounge staff. They serve with a smile and no request is ignored Food is great as well. Breakfast options are numerous including continental and Asian options We really believe that an uplift and renovation is long overdue at this hotel as it seems very aged and tired …

I booked a superior room and it was cosy with a big queen sized bed plus bath tub and shower screen under the 3 nights and above save more package. Was given a complimentary slice of nice dark chocolate birthday cake as well. Worth to return for the room and convenient location.

I’ve seen a lot of mixed reviews online for the Furama City Centre but was very surprised by our stay. We had plenty of space and the room was clean and nicely appointed. Beds were on the firmer side which suited my wife perfectly but I prefer a softer mattress. I agree with the comments about the hallways being musty and needing an update but I don’t book a hotel for hallway décor and ambiance. Coffee in the foyer and some other small amenities in the foyer were appreciated. The location of the Furama can’t be beaten as it is very close to the Chinatown MRT station.

There is an old hotel located right in chinatown (next to metro exit) Heartd lots of negative aspects of this hotel Cons: The hotel is rather old with worn out carpets and mild dew smell on certain floors and once in a while you can smell cigarette smoking coming through the vent After sign in at the counter you have to go to the kiosk and do the self serve passport scanning before the hotel room key spits out from a slot for you to go up for security control No views whatever unless you are on the top floor After normal operating hours at the lobby the free coffee and drink service is closed(I believe is 9 oclock) and you have to pay at the machine Busy hotel you would be lucky if you can wait in line for anything to talk to the concierge Pros: conventiently located centrally right by subway next to multiple food courts connected by pedway(you may get lost easily but generally as they are above the road it is on the second floor) but the sign is very small the swimming pool on the 6th floor outdoor is good for lowering your body temp on a muggy day. No life guard on duty The gym is too small for anything except to gather sweat smell and dust The bed and sheets are comfortable and clean Cannot comment on their restaurant and other services... …

The only thing about this Hotel being a 4 Star Hotel is the price. They do have a separate shower and bath, the bed is a king and a good bed. The buffet breakfast food was cold, well far from hot. Our room was not cleaned in the 3 days we were there and told they only clean them after 3 days. On check-in I asked about tourist information and was told to Google it. This place stinks of Mould.
