We stayed here for the Singapore Grand Prix. The hotel was very busy but staff did a good job of making sure everyone was looked after. Breakfast included was good, although you may want to find better coffee elsewhere or from the cafe in the lobby (not included in breakfast). Located across the road from the MRT so very handy location to explore from.

We were a family of 9 (kids, adults, elders) staying at the Jen Singapore Tanglin in May 2023 for 3 days and 2 nights. I'm really glad we chose this hotel. Cutting to the chase, what we liked - The hotel staff were very courteous and helpful at all times. Special shout out to the Chef Kim Perry who beats up a fantastic omelette and serves with an infectious smile! :) Cheers to the pool lifeguard Francis who helped my dad when he tripped over the chair near the swimming pool. The management staff including the manager, medic, a couple more whom I don't know arrived within a few mins to check only dad and ensure he was well and fine. Special mention to the staff who helped us load/unload our luggage at the entrance. Thank you and very grateful! - The hotel has been rightly awarded the best halal buffet in town. The breakfast included a good spread spanning across Indian, Pan Asian and continental. They even have a separate kids counter! - The rooms are spacious with comfy beds as expected. - The overall decor is very tastefully done. - The swimming pool is very impressive. The entire family had a whale of a time. Its pristine, clean and spacious. - Additionally, * the Orchard Boulevard MRT is right across the hotel. * the hotel is attached to the Tanglin mall, for those interested in an exclusive shopping experience. Room for improvement: - We would have appreciated if the staff at the reception accommodated an early check in request as we booked via luxuryescapes which mentioned the same. My wife and I have just spent two weeks at this hotel (great location literally one minute from the MTR station) and can only say the place is excellent and all the staff were friendly and helpful. We particularly liked the pool and spent a couple of hours there when we got back to the hotel each late afternoon, it was a great place to relax. The gym is also pretty good for one at a hotel and is arrange so it has a nice outlook over the pool. It is also very handy that that their is a walk way directly in to the adjacent shopping centre and we ate there a couple of nights when we did not want to be bothered going further! And just as a final point they have a number of bikes that are free to use (for four hours) and we used them to cycle to the Botanical Gardens that are nearby. If I was ever to go back to Singapore I would not hesitate to stay here again.…

I normally do not write reviews and I have stayed in many great hotels. The service in this hotel was fantastic I would like to also say thanks to the chefs there omelette were amazing food was great. The girls in the lounge access made it a pleasure to be in there.I would like to say a big thank you to all staff and will definitely be returning to this hotel.

Great hotel. Across the road from Orchard Boulevarde MRT so very convenient access to trains. Nice clean room. Good amenities. Very friendly staff. Very comfortable bed. Big shower but no bath. Pre book breakfast when booking room as it was SGD$45 per person if you walk in. Only did this once as didn’t ask price assuming was same as online price 😂😂 Fantastic pool area. Good for everyone as had little kids pool and pool is long enough for a few early morning laps. Lots of loungers but does get busy mid-late arvo when everyone back from shopping/sightseeing. Tangling Mall direct access. Smaller shopping centre but has some good restaurants (if you exhausted from your days activities), several quick lunch break places all with good coffee and a very good supermarket for take back to the room snacks. Will definitely being staying here again.…

We stayed for 5 nights and we’re very comfortable. We stayed in a twin room with a view of the pool. The beds were comfortable, bathroom clean and the room air conditioning was really good. The hotel is located next to the Thomson East Coast Line, station 13. This is a good line to get to Orchard Road, Botanic Gardens and Marina Bay. We regularly caught the train. While we did not have breakfast at the hotel, it was very popular and had most of the food you would expect at a buffet.

We had the most wonderful vacation at Jen Tanglin by Shangri-La. The hotel’s room was well appointed, for the young and young at hearts. The architectural design was cool and very refreshing. The pool was well kept, including the plants. Great service from the staff! Kudos to Inah, Rose, Juvylyn, Priscilla, Michael and the pool side staff, including the security officers.

JEN had a special deal on. Every 3 days they gave us a discount equal to my age. For me this meant every 3 days I got a 75% discount. MARVELOUS. Sometime this year I think, a new MRT station will open across the road from JEN, making it easy to travel. Could not fault the place. Well located, supermarket next door in the shopping mall. walking distance to Orchard Road (west)

A typical 4-star hotel with all the necessary facilities. No complaints on these. I do not know when the hotel was built or last renovated, but the rooms are showing obvious signs of age. The check in process is slow. There does not seem to be adequate counter staff. The self help check in machine is very difficult to manage. Having said these, I must also point out the staff are generally friendly. The swimming pool is beautiful. Not a bad idea to ask for a room facing the swimming pool. The buffet breakfast has adequate choices. The location is also very good. It is not in the busy part of the city. So the environment is quiet and comfortable, and there is a train station right across the hotel entrance. So transport is no problems.

It is our first time in SG and Hotel Jen Tanglin by Shangri-la was a great choice of hotel to stay as it was perfect for our family. Joy from the reception made our arrival and departure experience seamless not to mention that she made sure that our stay would be memorable. We can’t thank her enough. We would also like to thank Inah, Jonel and Genesis for their amazing service. And oh J65 Laksa is one of the best- a must try.
