I stayed at this hotel for 2 weeks. As I was there for 2 weeks this meant I was upgraded to the residence floors, 27th floor. If you're scared of heights you won't like the lift up the outside of the building. Views from the room balcony were great though. The residence breakfast was terrible. The hotel reception atrium is...

This is the best hotel room we have ever stayed in. Stopped for 2 nights in October 2005 on Singapore Stopover, which cost an amazingly low £25 per person per night for the room. Massive double bed, courtesy slippers and robes. Bathroom all glass, mirrors and reddy brown marble with walk in shower cubicle. Our room had a desk with...

Just returned from a two week stay at the Pan Pacific Hotel Singapore, and what else can I say but BRAVO to this hotel and its staff. In my 18 years of business travel I have not come across a more accomidating hotel. The staff and management did everything to make my experience here a positive one. A home away...

My husband & I stayed at the hotel for 3 nights as part of the Singapore Stopover Holiday promotion which is really a good deal. This hotel was not really our first choice but Ritz-Carlton and Shangri-la Hotels were both booked on the days we were in Singapore. No regrets because Pan-Pacific is just superb. Although we did not get...

I did't have the good view from the room. It only look at some building. It was so boring. The location is not great either. I prefer the orchard rd and the chinatown. You can not walk around the hotel. Especially at nighttime. But you can enjoy in the hotel lobby. It has the piano playing at night time. The...

Totally agree with the previous poster. NOISY! We were on the 8th floor and from about 8pm onwards is a singer in the lobby and they have it just way too loud! For a business hotel, not good for people that have to get up and go to work early. Too many staff/security members standing around and watching all the...

Stayed at the Pan Pacific and have since recommended it agressively to anyone who will listen to me. This place has become my benchmark for all world hotels. (EG - Recently stayed at the Luxor, Las Vegas and said "Not bad, but it isnt the Pan Pacific. Recently stayed at the Waldorf Astoria, New York and said " Not bad,...

Stayed at the Pan Pacific for 2 nights while in Singapore. It's a beautiful hotel with great staff. The washrooms are gorgeous and the rooms are spacious. It's in a great location - walking distance to Raffles and taxi's are very accessible from the front of the hotel. Would recommend anyone to stay here.

Downside of this Hotel is that is Atrium Style so very noisy, we were on the 9th floor and could hear lots of noise from the Lobby/cafe area, including a very noisy singer who was still going at 10.00pm, very business orientated and the staff could have been good had they smiled ! Location is great for the convention centre...

Stayed here for 3 nights in August 2005 en-route to Australia and loved everything about it. Our room on the 30th floor had a fabulous view over Singapore and was really comfortable and well looked after. The bed was huge but quite firm. The bathroom was top quality. The staff were really friendly and helpful and we would definnately stay...

Staying in Marina Bay

Neighbourhood Profile
Marina Bay
More of a mini city than a neighbourhood in the traditional sense, the iconic Marina Bay aims to dazzle and entertain visitors of all kinds. This is the Singapore found in glossy brochures, featuring a world-class hotel, casino, shops, restaurants, bars, and other attractions all geared towards pure entertainment. The SkyPark at Marina Bay Sands provides a stunning view of the city, a must-see photo opportunity for visitors and locals alike. The ArtScience Museum always has a top-quality exhibition, and Gardens by the Bay is a fascinating manifestation of the government’s vision of Singapore as a “city in a garden”. Enticing Marina Bay is well worth a visit.
