What a waste of a great location - from the depressingly dumpy lobby to the jail cell-like rooms with tiny, uncomfortable beds made for midgets - they could give it away and you would still feel cheated. You come away thinking whoever runs this sad excuse for a hotel just doesn't care - give this one a big miss!

I am surprised with all of Singapore's continual upgrading, why did Robertson Quay Hotel dip out in the list of upgrading ? This Hotel should be torn down and a new one built in its place. I am sure it had it's time/day, but that was probably 30 to 40 years ago or should i say 100 years ago when... More

This hotel is in a great location but that's where the good points end. To be honest, I'm surprised this hotel is still in business. Within 24 hours of arrival, here's what we experienced. - The smallest room I've ever seen in a hotel. There was nowhere to put our bags if we still wanted to stand on the floor... More

The view of the river is great and this could be a great hotel but service and standards are poor by Singapore standards. Indian front desk employee was sullen and never said hullo , whilst Chinese front desk staff said good morning and hullo. Varnishing in corridors made room smell and gave me a headache , I had to ask... More

I recently stayed for a few days. The hotel is located with a beautiful view of the river. It is close to a good number of hotels, river cruise and other outings. The hotel staff was very courteous and helpful. The breakfast was ordinary with limited choice. There was nobody to pickup the luggage while checking in or out. I... More

We stayed here for half a night as had a 2am departure so this was somewhere to lay our heads for a few hours. The hotel is very basic and rooms are small but location is great for the huge choice of resturants and nightlife at Clarke Quay. I think one or two nights would be enough as it is... More

Hotel was very overpriced for the type of room I got. Breakfast was ok and after walking 15 minutes you get to Chinatown, where you have restaurants. The best plus of the hotel was a swiming pool and my view in level 2 is nothing just wall after that they changed to be in level 10 and the view was... More

Staying in The Quays

Neighbourhood Profile
The Quays
From Marina Bay, a walk along Singapore River will take you through the three Quays of the city, each offering a very different atmosphere. Boat Quay features historical sites and a buzzing riverfront vibe. Clarke Quay caters to the party crowd, while Robertson Quay appeals to the leisurely wanderer. Weekends at Robertson Quay and Martin Road also give a peek into the lives of expats in Singapore, as the riverfront teems with joggers, dog walkers, and those getting their caffeine fix over brunch or enjoying a burger and a beer. No matter what you’re up for, the three Quays have something to keep you happy, day or night.
