This fabulous hotel was recommended to us by our travel agency. We cannot recommend it high enough . Great facilities throughout. Rooms comfortable. The staff were so helpful & friendly especially Larnie at reception . Nothing was too much bother & we felt that it was very personal & that we were the only guests staying there !! They helped to sort out taxi transfer issues we had to directions & places to visit . We would definitely stay here again . Thankyou Hotel Elizabeth .

This is at least our 4th stay at The Elizabeth in the past 2 years...absolutely LOVE this hotel. Being an Aussie married to a Singaporean, we always take the opportunity to stopover in Singapore for a few days on our way home from anywhere and now choose to stay at the Elizabeth. Why? Because of 4 things. Firstly, the staff are just wonderful- friendly, professional, more than happy to help with anything (don't misinterpret this- there will always be travellers who are just ridiculous in their expectations). Secondly, the rooms are spacious, functional and CONSISTENTLY cleaned to a high standard. Thirdly, the location! It's a few minutes walk to Orchard Rd, to the MRT, to buses, to shopping, to the best tea in Singapore- Killarney's. And finally the pool...I've mentioned it…

The staff was very friendly. All of our expectations were met. It was a 10 minute walk from Orchard Street. The check-in and checkout processes were easy. This is an older hotel, but it was clean and comfortable.

This hotel is three star only. It definitely needs some TLC and attention to detail. However the staff try hard under difficult circumstances . We waited 15 minutes for a breakfast table because the area is too small for the size of the hotel. We were lucky some people waited over 25 minutes, The only tea on offer is from a tea urn last seen in the seventies in the UK. However the coffee machine was excellent. The rooms are a bit tired but clean. The swimming pool is fine but the sun beds are so old you sit on canvas across metal bars and they are very uncomfortable. The towels around the pool area were in short supply , clean but tatty. This hotel did not spoil our visit to Singapore which is a great city full of interesting places and vibrant areas, The hotel is well located…

We spent three nights here. Staff was friendly and responsive. The first room we checked into was small, very worn and had ants. The AC was not working properly. We asked for another room and transferred our belongings to another room. The second room was bigger but still small. It had been updated. AC was good. The carpets in the hallways were soiled and worn. Two friends we were traveling with had the same experience with their first room and were moved. It is about a 10 minute walk downhill to Orchard.
