I don't really have anything bad to say about this hotel. The price was reasonable and the amenities for sufficient with all the nice extra touches like dressing gowns and tea stuff and slippers and toilet packs. Clean and comfortable. The in house restaurant is also nice and good value. Good spot for Orchard road. My only qualm would be the gym and the pool. The pool is not rain protected and they only had one of each machine. Howevery during my stay the running machine didn't work so they let me use the pool and gym at their sister hotel nextdoor - the Quincey, which were amazing. If the gym and pool are important to you - stay at the Quincey, if not, the Elizabeth should suffice.
A reasonably priced hotel in an excellent location . Hotel staffs are friendly and efficient. Rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. Very good hotel facilities and amenities. I just hope that they will offer free wifi.
This was the third and last time we stayed at the Elizabeth. They are trying to refurbish the rooms into a more boutiquish style, but it takes more than just redecorating, new furniture (only 1 chair) and restyling the bathroom to become a boutique hotel. We suffered from the very noisy airconditioning that was putting the room into a cold sauna. The humidity was terrible and all of the bedding was clammy and musty. Also the wifi rates are excessive in this hotel, but that seems to be a special Singapore treat.
This is the best place for shopping as you can walk to any mall on Orchard Road within 5 minutes. The hotel offered an excellent package for Universal Studio tour. We checked in early as we landed in Singapore at 8.30am while the check in time was 2pm. They were very nice and offered us a room early. Service and food both were excellent.
