Although a little tired in places the hotel is in the perfect location for orchard road and the many many shopping malls. Our room was on 4th floor and a little tired but cleaned each day and was ok for what we required. Extra pillows were provided within an hour of asking. Staff have been absolutely amazing with myself (badly sprained ankle on first day) and my partner who left his phone in a taxi on our last night here with bank cards (retrieved within 30 minutes). We booked a couple of trips with the lady in reception and she very kindly refunded the night cruise trip as I could not walk very well due to my injury, great service again. Where to start. The hotel opened in 1993? hasnt had a penny spent on it since. Very sparse and worn out looking. Our first stay we were in a small room on 11th floor, very dated there were bits missing off the shower etc and the banging from the lift through the wall kept us awake most of the night. Our last night we were in a room on the 3rd floor and the smell of dampness and mould was awful. I was like damp soil was under the carpet, how that happens on the throd floor i have no idea. the toilet pan had black encrusted crud in it, there were no face cloths, no mat for the bath or the bathroom floor which are tiled and slippy, it was a very difficult to operate the shower controls. water was coming out of flusher for pan. its just grim in the restaurant. best thing about it…

The main reason we decided to book this premise is a really good price/location ratio, especially for hotel near Orchard road. The hotel is located in a quite area, although you are actually near one of the busiest shopping roads in the city. It's pretty good for 1 week stay. The rooms are old decorated, but well maintained. We didn't try breakfast as to my opinion there are many great options along Orchard road located nearby.

I stayed from 23rd dec to 27th dec Hospitality was hopeless.... Same breakfast given for 4 days of stay... Who would like to eat same food everyday .. at home we prepare different each day... Not acceptable..... Guys at reception have a bad mood and din't guide us properly instead were very rude with us... One miss Anna was very nice at the reception... A warm lady... Though hotel's ambience is good other things like food ... receiving... room's cooling not good... fridge was not working...Behavior total zero.... Overall bad experience at the food counter and reception.... My opinion do not book here.... Have other hotels better than this.... Hopeless management
