[Positives] 1. Gym (have free weights up till 34KG) 2. Rooms are always pleasant and comfortable. the side table and plugs are just near the bed. you don't need to stretch till you fall off the bed. 3. Breakfast selection is great! and the food is amazing! 4. Bed is comfortable, always 5. many high tech features. the rubber duckling and the bear is still the signature. 6. Epic music welcome on TV is extremely inspiring. 7. Seasonal surprises. They gave us ang bao packets as it was during CNY period. 8. we celebrated our anniversary and we were given a box of chocolates. it was extremely to our taste and high quality! 9. automatic day/night curtains 10. the lounge was great! they continue to offer tidbits and drinks till late (better than Fullerton's) [Negatives] 1. Marriott Bonvoy Gold tier membership wasn't honoured during the last stay as they they have ran out of rooms to upgrade me. They offered me late checkout but no extended lounge benefits. it was pointless and we checked out at the normal checkout time. 2. Breakfast place (Oscars) was swarmed and we had to sit outside and the service was poor and slower. Do remember to book your breakfast slot. this is something which front desk commonly forgets. So, do book it once you check in. :)

The COVID-19 Heightened Alert measure was announced just a few days before my staycation. And although I had a hard time liaising with KLOOK due to the high volume of enquiries they are facing. Rachel from Conrad Hotel called me and assisted and advised me on the alternate options available for my staycation. The package included Dinner & Breakfast buffet, but due to the measures, Dine-in is not permitted. Instead, we were given $80 of dining credits and our breakfast be served to our room. Check in process was a breeze and we felt very welcome. Requested for a late checkout at 2pm and was granted, really appreciate it. The room was spacious, cozy and with a nice view of the Kallang River. Was assigned a high floor at Level 25. Utilised the $80 dining credit by ordering in-room dining from their Chinese restaurant; Golden Peony. The food was good! My room came with bathtub, so definitely had a good soak in the tub and had a pleasant sleep. Oh, love the cute Conrad Bear and the rubber ducky provided for the tub! Location was exceptionally great, just next to Millenia Walk, Suntec, Marina Square etc. There’s 7 eleven and lots of cafe and food choices around. Enjoyed my stay & definitely will be back for more! Hopefully can dine in by then so I can enjoy my dinner buffet at Oscar. Not to mention, checkout process was fast and efficient too! Oh, almost forgot to mention, I guess Aika, should be the Duty Manager, SMS-ed me and asked about my stay. Which I think it’s a very nice personal touch. Appreciate. Thanks all the staffs of Conrad. Take care & stay safe everyone!

My fiancée and I were there for some sort of an engagement celebration stay, but we did not inform the Front Desk as we did not want to "make use of it". But coincidentally, the staff who checked us in, whose name is Amirah, was friendly, polite and she and her team arranged a room with a Marina view despite not knowing that we were celebrating our engagement, it made our stay all the more pleasant. Thank you Conrad Centennial Team!

Date: 17th May 2021 Saturday. Room: 2207 Location: Very near to the CBD.area. Just 5 minutes’ walk to the Promenade mrt station. Many shopping malls around with Suntec City malls & Millenia Walk literally opposite & a little bit further Marina Square as the nearest ones with just some 5-15 minutes’ walk. Other places of interest includes the iconic MBS Hotel structure, the Merlion statue, Gardens by the Bay & the nearby parks etc. Hotel rooms: Booked a Deluxe room via klook.com & was upgraded to a Premium room on the 22nd floor. The package included a breakfast & A-la-carte buffet dinner at their Oscars’ restaurant worth $139nett. However, due to the just initiated stringent Covid-19 measure, dine-in had been banned for a month. Thus the management see fit to replace this with a $80 nett worth to order whatever one wishes. I did felt this was inferior to the a-la-carte dinner to be honest but we just went along with the stay due to this trip being my birthday celebration with the missus. The room was spacious and inviting and the view was very good. I would say the pillows were one of the best I had slept in of all the various staycay I’ve been doing this past 3 months. Being my birthday, the hotel did prepare a free small-ish bear plush & a rubber ducky as well as a small cake slice to be collected at their premise cake shop below. These were very good touches. I did not even need to declare to them it was my birthday and the initiative was very welcome. Staff: Good. The fine gentleman who had checked us in was very cheerful & professional. Couldn’t see a name tag though. Was checked-out by the same person and it was quick and efficient. The service staffs during our room service were very quick and efficient as well, both the dinner & breakfast. Cordial, polite & professional. Food: Dinner via room service. We both ordered the following a la carte items. Items and ratings as follows: Cabonara pasta  – 8/10. Very creamy & tasted very good. The meat portions were generous. The buns were good too. Fish noodle soup -  6/10. Not hot enough. Tasted average.   Har cheong gai – 8/10. Good taste but chicken size was rather small. Breakfast via room service. Asian set – Lo mein – 7/10. Not hot enough Local set – Nasi Lemak – 7/10. Average but portion was generous. Orange juice would be nicer if it was the fresh kind. Overall amount was very good. Facilities: The swimming pool was slightly small but looks very good. Was sad it started to rain thus I cut short my time at the pool. You will need to pre-book your 1hr per day slots. Summary: We were happy to have stayed here & would definitely come back if a suitable promotion comes along.

Stayed and book through Klook SG"s Marvelicious staycay package which includes dinner for 2 on top of breakfast. Luxury isn't just what you see, it's what you feel. And at Conrad, you feel it in spades. TLDR: Come here to enjoy top class service, great rooms for both relaxing or having small gatherings, all in understated luxury that recharges your senses. There are enough reviews already mentioning this property’s great location, so I shall not belabour the point. We stayed in a Grand Deluxe King (basically, a Deluxe King on a higher floor facing Marina Bay, with a shorter sofa) on the 26th Floor. View is great, but is blocked by Pan Pacific and Parkroyal Collection Marina Bay. A stand out for me is the service. Older hotels like this property having public spaces that are less glitzy than its snazzier counterparts (Andaz, Capitol Kempinski, come to mind) but yet the experience is excellent and memorable. At Conrad, greetings are never perfunctory, but instead are aimed to make you feel at home. You can tell by the earnest eagerness shown in their ability to anticipate your needs before you need to ask (being offered umbrellas, complimentary parking tickets right after them greeting you by the lobby post dinner). The public spaces still project a graceful dignity (after all, S$6 million of art is littered around this hotel) after so long, although things like the pool are definitely showing their age.
However, the rooms were recently refreshed in 2018 by Jaya Ibrahim, the same interior designer behind Capella Singapore. The rooms convey an effortless elegance, the low lying furniture making the room feel more spacious and open, doing away with a working desk (great for staycationers like me) and opting for a long, lounge-ready sofa setup instead. Some spots in the bathroom could do with slightly better maintenance though, like the tiny chips in the bathtub for example. But overall, the rooms are clean, well designed, offer great views and are well maintained. The beds are good (supportive mattress, silk smooth sheets), although could be better with the pillow menu they had pre-pandemic (am guess it’s the effort required to maintain this menu). You get a cute bear and rubber duck to take home, and the room comes stocked with 6 Nespresso capsules, Ronnefeldt Teas (with some additions of Dilmah), and an empty mini-bar (due to the pandemic). Bath amenities are from Shanghai Tang, although The Refinery products are also available for men. I would preferred a selection of non-caffeinated teas (like chamomile or peppermint) in room, although they are able if you ask. Bath salts, robes, are also available with enough towels for 4 people. The TV is a 55” Samsung Smart TV and has HDMI ports for you to plug in and play you own content if you have Chromecast.
