We spent about 18 days at the Fullerton Hotel, the first part of our stay between 12 Dec to 23 Dec 2022, we were in Loft Suite 279 which has a mezzanine floor with the main bedroom, the lower floor being the living and dinning area and the open terrace overlooking One Fullerton. During the first part of our stay, we have access the Straits Club. I thought the Straits Club is more quiet than the main breakfast area but unfortunately the variety of food is limited as compared to the main Town restaurant. The complimentary afternoon tea menu was sadly poor quality. The evening drinks were good. I think Straits Club could do with a more relaxing ambience with its decor and offerings. Fullerton needs to rethink about the Straits Club offerings. It's too 1980s mindset for me. We…
It’s a very nice city hotel. Beautiful building, but overall too big to offer top-notch service. Doormen barely said hi, no one helps with the doors for most of the time (= not top-notch service), it’s a busy place, which takes away anything “special”. Breakfast buffet was underwhelming, including its self-service standard coffee machines, which make for very mediocre anything. A hotel shouldn’t get 5 stars if you can’t make a proper latte. The club lounge is nice, but not really cozy. Offers no window views, very bland feel. Food is mediocre. Club staff is excellent though. If you’ve club access, you can opt for a limited breakfast there or go to the downstairs restaurant instead. Rate included free breakfast and with that visiting the restaurant downstairs was a no…
Definitely a 5-star hotel. You can’t beat the location. You walk out the door and there’s the Merlion icon facing the Marina Sands Bay. The rooms are very spacious. The staff go all out to accommodate your needs. The breakfast buffet is outstanding, a bit pricey but worth it. Highly recommend The Fullerton.
The Fullerton hotel is an historical post office converted in a luxurious hotel. The building is quite old and frankly the design and the rooms are quite old fashioned. Maybe 20 years ago it would be considered luxurious.. However, the location is great and close to the MRT station. What really stood out for us was the level of service and professionalism provided by the hotel staff. When we checked-in there was a problem with our room and Joshua the receptionist in charge of us took the initiative to upgrade us to a better room and he personally went to inspect it to make sure we wouldn’t be disappointed again! He also made sure to send us a honeymoon present! Joshua definitely knows how to make guests feeling welcome and treat them with the best hotelier heart. We also had…
My girlfriend and I had an incredible stay at the Loft Suite at the Fullerton Hotel. The only thing that was better than the hotel’s regal architecture and historical significance was the impeccable service. The hotel manager Shazwan was extremely helpful, knowledgeable and anticipated our needs even before we did. This is a must-have experience for tourists and locals alike.
We stayed and celebrated our Marriage-Anniversary Celebration from 11 Dec to 17 Dec 2022. Fullerton Hotel and Fullerton Bay Hotel always is our 1st choice :) We really enjoyed the FH and FBH team excellent services. Especially during Festive season. The Christmas decorations were beautiful, full of christmas spirits and the ambience were amazing :) With Sharon assistance. She arranged our 2 nights (11-12 December) in Fullerton Suites. The room is huge with balcony facing Marina Bay, cosy outdoor room with beautiful scenic. Another 4 nights (13-17 December) we stayed in Marina Bay View room. The full view looking at the bay, one fullerton and fullerton bridge were superb :) Our 12 December celebration, was well planned and organised by Paul. The Lighthouse Restaurant…
If you appreciate history and culture I would recommend a visit to The Fullerton Building. The Fullerton Building was opened in 1928 and named after Robert Fullerton, who was the 1st Governor of the Straights Settlements. The building originally had five founding tenants: the General Post Office, The Exchange, Singapore Club, the Marine Department, and the Import and Export Department. The building is currently used as a hotel and has a small museum with in, where I learned quite a lot of Singapores history.
Impressive family stay at the Fullerton, nicely located to the main landmarks are within walking distance, hotel is well decorated for Christmas, stunning view of the river and Marina Bay, staff are friendly. Special thank you to @Rafi Patani at the concierge for your dinner advice. We enjoyed our stay.
The rooms are nice and generally clean but this time I found some restaurant staff were very rude and unhelpful. I just tried to order a takeaway coffee from the restaurant (which we had done the day before) this time I was told the restaurant was closed for lunch and to come back at 4pm if I wanted a coffee (3 hours away) I asked what had changed since I had ordered the day before and I was then told to order room service if I wanted a coffee. I said I just want a takeaway. Then she said I could order coffee but would have to wait 20 mins. Basically I couldn’t get a straight answer and found this member of staff ‘Hope’ grumpy, unnecessarily rude and unhelpful with a very condescending and dismissive attitude. She then appeared to be complaining about me to a fellow staff member…
Darshan was so warm n welcoming to me n my girlfriend, for her birthday! And what more the room was alreayd an hour early! Thankful for darshan n team! We will definitely come back next time for sure!!
