It was ok. Nothing special about this hostel, there was no atmosphere at all but the location is great. There was only 1 bathroom for all the females on the floor which wasn’t ideal and the staff always came into our room early in the morning to change beds and things and they were not quiet! The hostel was good for a bed to sleep in but that’s it.

Space is limited in Singapore so we provide shared bathroom in each floors instead of private bathroom. You can use your key card to go upstairs / to other levels for more bathrooms. As Singapore is super expensive, this hostel had a good price-quality ratio. You'll get what you'll pay for. So a simple room, quite clean, breakfast with toast and coffee/tea. The location is perfect, lots of places to eat nearby and next to the metro. Don't expect luxury, you have to share your room and bathroom with many others, but I don't regret staying here at all.

Situated at a very convenient location, easy access to Chinatown MRT (Exit F) and bus stops. Lots of eating places in the vacinity, ranging from hawer centres to restaurants and eateries in shopping mall. Best of all is the 24hr check-in availability and working staff are very friendly.

It’s very near to everywhere, just a 3 min walk to mrt stations. It’s clean and comfortable. The staff is very helpful. And knows best places to go give directions. It’s old building but it’s well maintained. So many eating places nearby and also 25 hours Cheers store like 7/11.

Room was really comfortable, it was really easy to meet people and bathrooms were clean! The common room was nice with a couple of bean bags and a really comfy couch. Breakfast and kitchen was small but well suited.

Amazing Experience altogether staying at this wonderful hostel BearyBest moreover it’s pretty convenient as well as the MRT is just opposite to the hostel. I was staying at the pod which was pretty nice and comfy Toilets and washrooms were very clean I am definitely coming next time to this place and would highly recommend Beary Best Hostel to stay and yes not to forget the breakfast which is quite good as well. Great lounge area where you can spend time getting to knw new people around the world. Altogether it is value for money.

Looking for a highly affordable, unique pod-living experience and a professionally-run accommodation for your solo visit to Singapore? Look no further; as Beary’s pod hotel on Upper Cross St, Chinatown provides all of this, and more. As an individual new to solo traveling, I was initially a little hesitant even considering living in the confines of a pod as I checked-into Beary’s pod accommodation (not to mention in the wee hours of the morning) - however, my concerns were quickly dispelled.
