I loved my stay at Beary Best hostel. The location was perfect -- it was steps away from the metro and bus stops, as well as Chinatown which had the BEST food. The breakfast offered is simple so if you want something bigger, you'll have to walk over the the hawker center that's close by. If you're a solo female traveler, I would make sure to to book the all female dorms. I initially booked for the capsules, but found I was the only woman (26) in a room with a lot of middle-aged men! I didn't feel unsafe at all, but I was not the most comfortable. Staff were very nice and accommodating and moved me to an all female dorm.

This hotel is accessible in everything-transpo mrt and bus are just a minute walk.affordable restos are just about 10 min walk.souvenir items are very cheap at the chinatown market about 2 blocks away.the staff are very respectfull and accommodating.breakfast is free self service.it is a home away from home.if i will come back to singapore i will stay in beary best hostel again.thank you to all the staff.

Location is very good. You can go everywhere easily by bus or subway. Also if you like walking, you can go to Marina Bay Sands on foot. It takes 20-30 minutes. And of course Chinatown is right behind the hostel. In general, everything was good.

After my first hostel had pest control in, I turned up here with no booking and very stressed. They sorted me out a room and told me the options and made me feel relaxed. Good clean showers and toilets. Comfy beds with an actual duvet. Staff helpful and friendly. Breakfast included which was on till a decent time. Felt secure here and enjoyed my stay. Would definitely recommend

I recently stayed at this hostel and it was a very good experience. The hostel is located close to the Chinatown MRT station and malls, shops etc. This hostel provides a basic free breakfast in the kitchen which is nice. The common area downstairs has a TV with a Netflix account. Upstairs, the dorm was clean and tidy, although under the beds could have done with a clean. The air conditioning seemed to be stuck on a low temperature, making the room quite cold. Whilst I was staying there were renovations going on so there was clearly investment happening. The bathrooms were clean and tidy with good showers. The WiFi connection was good too. Overall a good stay in Singapore and would definitely recommend as a place to stay.

Good hostel for the price you are paying. But there were some Tagalog speakers not very respectful to other guests. They were gossiping late night but 3 in the morning they woke up and start packing. The staffs are nice but they should add notes in the room like - “Pack your things ahead of time, don’t wake up your neighbors etc etc”. Toilet happened to be okay. They let me store my luggage after check out for few hours, really appreciated it.

Beary Best is near the Bus and MRT station. The staffs are friendly & helpful. My child love the breakfast although they’ve bread, butter, jam & cereal. The room is quiet small but it still great. The bathroom is clean and if you forget to bring your soap don’t worry they have all you need even the toothpaste. We will come back soon!

The hostel is very clean and neat venue. There is a private bathroom in the room. Staff concerned and friendly. The location is fine as the location. He was right behind Chinatown. I highly recommend you as well liked.

The “pods” are at least 10 cm open on the top side, so all light comes in and you just can’t sleep. The electricity outlets don’t work in the upper bunks, so why installing them anyway? The dorm is a mess, and the bathroom too. I’ve seen better student housing in my student days. WiFi was out over 3 days, and staff didn’t feel the need to fix it (I reminded them 4 times!). I’m sorry but this place is a joke. The pictures they put online of their pods are soooo unrealistic!
