I chose to stay in the 24 bed superior dorm room however I would advise against this. The bed was comfy and I appreciated that each bunk got a small mirror, however we were all expected to share 2 showers and 2 toilets. This meant the bathrooms got dirty very quickly, despite the cleaners attempts to keep them in a good condition. The lager mirrors were also a bit pointless as the glass was tinted and they were made of multiple pieces (mosaic like). This meant that doing my make-up and getting ready for a night out was a bit difficult. A big issue for me was that the lights were kept on all night - this would have been fine if the privacy blind covered the whole bunk but a lot of light came through. Hostels are meant for communal living, and we do our best to encourage all guests to be mindful of this. And sometimes, we have guests who are not as mindful of others - we ask for your support to remind each other, and also pass us this feedback while you are still in house, so that our hosts can help speak to the other guest directly. Drinking water is available - there are no water dispensers as the tap water is drinkable in Singapore. I stayed at Beary Best Hostel for a week. It was my first time travelling alone and the atmosphere at the hostel was nice. Because the kitchen is small, you almost automatically make contact with fellow travellers. The lounge is also convenient. I stayed in a female dorm with 7 others. It was nice that we had a private bathroom. The hostel is clean and the staff is friendly. I could store my luggage for three weeks while I was travelling in Malaysia against payment. The room was not locked. Everyone could just store their luggage there for the day and take it whenever they wanted. However, my luggage was still there, so all good! I stayed here one more night before I flew back from Singapore.

Central location at the edge of Chinatown, about half an hour walk from Bugis Junction. Too many people packed like sardines in mixed rooms. A bit more space would have been nice. As it was there was not even enough place to walk with two people next to each other in between the beds, let along getting in or out with luggage.

Value for money, room was spacious enough, and the location was accessible to public transport & key spots in Chinatown. It was my second time to book a bed at this hostel and I would definitely rebook if I travel to Singapore again.

Worst hostel ever!!!! Had a bad experience. The comfort room is not clean, used tissues were scattered on the floor. The aircon is not functioning very well!!!.. I do not recommend you guys to have an accomodation on this hostel.

Nice location near MRT station and major sights of Singapore. Marina bay and Clarke quay are within walking distance. Rooms are fine. Little bit small and missed a good place to store my backpack. Breakfast was limited but fine for a start. Overall I had a nice stay at the hostel and would definitely recommend.

Overall was satisfied. Do prep there is no water dispenser, which a bit of lacking. You can expect quiet and calm ambient in the room. Nearby Chinatown MRT. 7-11 & Cheers convenient stores around as well.

Hostel had everything we needed. There was wifi, a lounge (though not super social people when we were there). We could pay to use laundry machines. The lockers in the rooms were great and big, you can buy a lock there if you didn't bring one. There was an all-female and mixed bathroom. Bathrooms were relatively clean. Overall, would stay again.

Stayed 3 nights, very easy to get to from Airport via MRT. Standard backpackers living. Sometimes the wifi doesnt work in the common area downstairs. Friendly staff and clean. Maybe change the cleaning hours to after 11am so people can get ready before checking out :)
