On 29 July, I booked the hotel from 29 July - 2 August on Booking.com. It was an urgent situation and we needed a room desperately. When we arrived to check-in, the receptionist refused to accept my helper as a guest because she had tested positive for Covid. Nevermind the fact that the hotel was actually listed in the Singapore Hotel Association as a SHN hotel. They said that I would get a full refund if I contacted my booking agent - Booking.com. So after settling my situation, I called Booking.com later that night and they sent an email to the hotel about the cancellation and asked me to call the hotel to reconfirm that they had received the document. One of the worst hotel I ever stayed in my entire life. Right from checkin to checkout it's a flawlessly bitter journey through the hotel. Particularly, the people in reception, the ones with Indian origin it looks like, from their accent and appearance, are exemplary of what not to do if you are working for the hospitality industry. This guy named some Jivendran at reception ensures that the check in experience feels like going through the toughest emigration check in the world. He looks at the screen and raises his superior eyes and calls out to the arriving tired guest of any stature, 'So, Saniya...' My goodness! Rooms are very clean and staff is very accommodating. As I was staying for business, it is a great location near malls, restaurants and a clinic where you can take a PCR test which is required before traveling back to Japan. The staff called the clinic to confirm the opening hours and even printed the PCR certificate for me. The staff also called a taxi for me at 5:00 in the morning. Highly recommended for people who are staying for business. Will definitely stay here again.

Frankly, this is an underrated hotel. Have stayed at Days Hotel for quite a few times before. Gotta say that the stay have always been very pleasant and I was able to get some good rest. There's a good selection of TV and cable channels - not your typical 3-star hotel. A word of caution for first timers would be if you're a light sleeper, I'd suggest topping up a little more for the Superior Room as it'll guarantee a higher floor room, so it helps to reduce the road/street noise by quite a fair bit. Complimentary parking is also available for in-house guests but do note that it's capped at 1 parking coupon per day, nonetheless there are plenty of parking lots at the basement carpark. Overall, this is definitely a value for money staycation and I'll be back again.

nice location, fast WiFi, dryer was not very good , even set to high temp and run for 2 times, my collar on polo shirt still fell wet. room is clean and with and quite, If GEM can open 24hrs by our door card would be better, as 7am to 7pm is hard for us to use as we are on work that time.

Lovely hotel and staff at reception. Checking in had to wait for some time Checking out not too long and exceptional service from both staff. Cleanliness has to improve as next day the cleaning staff seemed to have done a hurried clean leaving behind cleaning liquid, extra bath mat ,changed even colour of towels from fluffy white ones to thin blue towels and one used hand towel left as it was ,although we hung it up not wanting a change of towels as we were there 2 nights only.There was a note regarding saving water but everyone need to adhere to the policy to save the environment. Won’t be using this hotel again as when you are away from home cleanliness and comfort like home matters

A temporary towel was provided instead. Hotel was nice in the middle of the city. Rooms were actually bigger than my expectation (considering singapore). Breakfast is also good. You may get an options for indian food as well. Everything was good except a fact that nearest MRT station is 1 km far away from hotel and there is no shuttle service provided by the hotel. If you want to use MRT then its a lot walking from Novena MRT to hotel.

Stayed at Days Hotel recently for 2 nights during our short trip to Singapore. We were very satisfied with our stay. The hotel is conveniently situated adjacent to Zhongshan Park (with plenty of eateries inside Zhongshan Mall). Not to mention that bus station is just a minute away from the hotel and that Novena MRT is approximately 10mins away walking distance. The room, although not the most spacious, is neat, clean and comfortable. Sound proof is acceptable as being a light-sleeper myself, I was able to catch some quality sleep. Complementary breakfast provided was delicious and adequate. Overall we were very happy with our stay. Would definitely recommend this place.
