Hotel is very very clean. Windows cannot be opened unless you inform the staffs and they will unlock it for you. :0 Provide free cell phone while you stay there. comfortable bed and good shower. Very good location. Just across the street from the MRT. You can take the MRT everywhere. Lots of restaurants and stall around there.

The hotel is very clean. However, the windows are all locked. You will need to inform the hotel to unlock the windows. We were afraid if there is a fire, we will be trapped. The hotel provide a free cell phone for us to use. We can navigate, make phone call and buy discounted tickets. It is very nice. The...

Bliss Hotel is located in the heart of Chinatown, across the street from the Chinatown MRT station. Pros: Great location. Tons of restaurants and bars in the neighborhood and lots of temples, markets, and museums to visit during the day. Easy to get to other parts of the city by train or bus. Cons: We had an interior room with...

My room was an interior room; no windows, which was fine for a short weekend stay and not much time spent in room except for sleeping. The room itself was adequate sized with single bed with open bathroom and rain shower, cable tv with HBO and Discovery Channel. Front desk was always friendly and accommodating. Check-in was fast. Shopping Center...

We had a good sized comfortable (beds great) family room, two singles and a Queen bed, the room also had a smart phone so you could call 5 countries, Australia included. Good location to Chinatown and we enjoyed cheap meals. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The only issue (minor) lack of a proper shower screen between the toilet and...

I can’t say enough about the Bliss Hotel. The location is perfect. Right by the entrance to China town with a metro MRT station just across the street. Right next to the MRT station is an entrance to a giant mall that has every conceivable store including many fast food and regular restaurants. The staff of the hotel are very...

The best thing about this hotel is its great location in Chinatown across the street from ChinaTown Point and the Chinatown Metro station. It is about a 15 minute walk to downtown museums and 5-10 minutes to the Buddha Tooth Museum in the heart of Chinatown. For breakfast you have a choice of Chinatown Point restaurants across the Street or...

This hotel was recommended to me by a friend who had previously stayed here. I was so glad to go with his recommendation because for the price this hotel is fantastic. Its across the road from the MRT station Chinatown. Its 500m from a strip of cafes, bars and a large indoor food court. The hotel was super clean throughout....

The rooms are smallish with no wardrobes or drawers so you will literally be living out of a suitcase making it only bearable for two or three days as somewhere to rest your head after being out all day sightseeing. Beds are comfy and a good wet room shower. There is a MRT metro station within yards so it's easy...

Staying in Chinatown

Neighbourhood Profile
Chinatown
Chinatown is a classic combination of colourful sights, enticing smells, and sometimes startling sounds. The precinct is unique, however, in its blending of religions and cultures. A Hindu temple, an Islamic mosque, and a Chinese Buddhist temple sit almost side by side. This sense of cultural harmony continues as you venture just outside of Chinatown to the nightlife areas of Club Street and Duxton Hill. There you’ll mingle with Singapore’s multicultural residents at the modern bars and restaurants dotting the bustling streets. An afternoon in and around Chinatown will leave you culturally enlightened, well fed, and loaded with souvenirs. In the evening, reward yourself with a well-deserved cocktail as the locals come out to play.
