#176 of 366 hotels in Singapore
Opening its doors for the first time, The Daulat is a boutique hotel, which caters to both business and leisure travelers with an amalgamation of modern contemporary design and a rich architectural history. With an emblematic interior design across all its 16 rooms, it aspires to accommodate our guests with a unique experience during their stay. The Daulat is located less than 500 meters from Little India MRT station and resides in the heart of Singapore’s foremost Indian enclave. Little India is one of the most vivid, colorful places with an agglomeration of flower vendors, spice stores and Indian fashion wears. Little India historically was part of the Chulia Kampong area. In the initial plans of Singapore by Raffles which, was originally a division of colonial Singapore where Indian immigrants would reside under the British policy of ethnic segregation. The district eventually flourished and evolved to become, what is now known as Little India. Under the British colonial rule the architecture of the buildings then were symbolic of the British influence. The buildings were characteristically known as shophouses. Retailers ran their business from the first floor and their living quarters was the floors above the shop. These designs of the shophouses in Little India range from the Early 1840 to 1900.The fusion of a rich historical installation with modern contemporary facilities and design is what The Daulat cites as general theme for their guests.

Staying at this hotel was a big disappointment, rooms far to small had to crawl over each other to get out of bed, mould round the edges of shower tray, between toilet and shower was a small rail to hang clothes which wasn't very hygienic. Had to walk over cases. Advertised with swimming pool which was a joke as it was under maintenance and looked as if it had been for a long time. Breakfast was eggs fried to death and white rice. Asked if we could have cereal for next day and were told to go and get it ourselves. Have never after 50 years of travelling stayed at a worse hotel.

This hotel is a joke! Rooms we were given were supposed to be double you could only access the bed from one side with about 2 foot of space left to move around in the shower was all mouldy and on the second night the toilet flushing system broke with no one to come and repair it we had to try and sleep with it flushing all night it was like sleep next to a waterfall. As for breakfast toast rancid butter the first day we were promised cereal for the second day and had to wait for someone to go to the shops for cereal, bread and butter. The photos on the wed sight were definitely faked my advice is don’t go.

Don't expect anything from this hotel .Even if rooms free they won't give you check inn early even if you offer half day rent .. No and zero room service ,very small congested rooms and bathroom. Breakfast was again big disappointing..They she name it hostel rather than hotel. May be they have very less staff so can't blame on staff rather owner . I couldn't find a single thing to recommend this hotel

Having stayed at this hotel very recently, I can assure you that every and each good review you may find here must have been fabricated: FAKE and/or PAID Reviews! The pictures of the rooms shown on the website are fake! The pictures have been designed to make the rooms look way larger than they really are! You will be surprised how small the rooms are! We got a so-called Superior King and could hardly find a place for our single suitcase! The so-called double bed is too small you can hardly fit! The sheets are stained! It is stained everywhere! Dusty! Just one person can take a shower before the water goes cold and then your partner has to wait for an hour before the it goes hot again; ridiculous! There is no one serving at the reception full time! The management is literally

I don’t understand why this hotel has so many good reviews. After only staying this place 1 night out of the 3 we booked I had to come back and write a review to warn other travellers of this misconception. First of all very small, everything is small. There’s only 20 something rooms in the entire hotel, which might be nice or intimate if done correctly but this hotel to did achieve that. Instead it meant few working staff, the staff that were there appeared uninterested. The room we stayed in was therefore unclean because I can only assume the receptionist was also the cleaner. We stayed in the loft double room. The pictures looked amazing something special to finish our trip in Singapore. Before booking we checked the reviews to see if this was as good as it looked and after
