The location is actually very near the Mosque in Singapore. There are some halal food and restaurants. But, be carefull since the hostel is mix room between men and women. Please notice that constraint carefully

the location is amazing! Just a moment from the underground station and on a beautiful traffic free street full of palms, a stunning mosque at the end and a small grocery right opposite. The staff extremely friendly. However, it's a place for backpackers - nothing to do with hotel standards :P (if you want to be sure to get a bed in a proper room, make sure you ask for that - I mean, there are beds in 'rooms' with no doors at all which means you pass sleeping people on your way to the bathroom ;) It really has a unique backpacking atmosphere. Oh, and the free breakfast full of fruit - delicious! <3

Stayed at the hostel for four nights, and it was horrible. There are no doors between the rooms. Stayed at a room with four bunkbeds, there was not much space what so ever. Also, people from the other rooms walked through the room constantly, so there was really no privacy. There were only four bathrooms, shared with all the other people at the hostel. Also, the first floor crawled with rats at nighttime. There were also bedbugs, and I woke up with bites all over me. My impression was just gross and dirty. Would never go there again.

I have been staying in hostels and this one is hard to forget. Despite its many guests, the staff are just awesome and kind. They have free lockers! The location is within the heart of Bussorah Street, in the bustling Bugis area. If you are taking MRT, take Exit B and walk along North Bridge Road (walk in the opposite direction to the passing vehicles) until you see Arab Street, and just a short walk along Arab Street, you will see Muscat Street, walk a bit past the beautiful mosque and you will see Sleepy Kiwi. Reception at time is abuzz with people but the staff are always ready to assist you. The rooms are well ventilated and air conditioning is just fine. Room is big and beds are comfy. Each bed comes with reading light. Wifi is fast! The area is teeming with bars, restaurants and shopping so don't worry! MRT station is about 5 minute walk. 😊

Purchased at Hotels.com cheapest place I have search for just sleeping. Didn't bother to choose a private room.booked a bed for the mixed dormitory type. Place is okay just right amount of what you're paying for. Kid friendly as my daughter survive. Thank you for all the travelers at the time of my stay for bearing of her childishness. This place is more inviting than backpackers inn chinatown, maybe because of the couch where you can all be lazy. Free breakfast is also good serve at 8am! Be sure to take a bath between 6-7am or else you will que in line. There's two computers free to use. There's a refrigerator you can store your food, but men it was a mess. You cannot bring your shoes inside the dormitory, before you enter there is a shoe rack. Its like going to the temples. There is also wide choices of Indian food. Across there is small 7/11 great for your noodles cup, there isn't much to buy

My friends and I spent time there for 3 days. I booked for 3 person in 4-dormitory room. The room size is about 2x3meters, a bit small but enough for us. Sleepy kiwi is located behind the mosque, which is very convenient for me. Accros from the sleepy kiwi, there's a 7/11.
