Most Recommend Hotel for Muslim Travelers in Singapore. There is a Mosques in front of the hotel (Masjid Al Falah). Breakfast serve meal with vegetarian label (Which is convenient for Muslim). Toilet with bidet (very convenient for Asian Travelers). Walking distance from Somerset MRT, Paragon, Takashimaya, Lucky Plaza. Best experience...
A centrally located hotel that is easily accessible and with a host of facilities. Easy check in , friendly front office staff and clean rooms all give a great experience while on holiday. Firm and soft pillows add to the sleep quality and good housekeeping ensures a clean room when you return after a tiring day. The Buffet breakfast can do some more veg options and that was a limitation. the Starbucks vending machine was a huge +.
We stayed here as the first trip overseas since COVID. We just wanted to get our confidence back after being locked up for 2 years and we love Singapore so the trip was a test of our abilities, renewed. The location of this hotel is perfect. Centrally located on Orchard Road (actually back one street but easy access to Orchard Road) and almost half way between Orchard and Somerset MRT stations making access to transport very easy. Plenty of shops and restaurants close by, both local and western cuisine. Staff were excellent with the room being kept serviced early each day and breakfast being promptly served at 0630 each day. While breakfast is not a big feast, there was a good selection to cater for most people and it was all delicious with both hot food, cereals and fruit available with juices and coffee machine as well. Reception staff were pleasant and helpful at all times. Even though it is virtually on Orchard Road the noise level was quiet with only a faint noise heard on Saturday Night from a band/group playing on Orchard Road. Definitely stay again.…
We received excellent service from Jovian and Shakeela was very good too. The room is small but good. Breakfast has wonderful vegetarian options. The Indian man waiter is exceptional(sorry I didn't get his name) Housekeeping is very good too. Nothing is an issue for them, they all just help even got a taxi for us. And Jovian helped very much with our travel, Shaekeela with a restaurant.
I had a good experience staying in this hotel. The front desk staffs are helpful and willing to listen. Staff member Reena is patient and willing to go the extra mile to accomodate us. The hotel room is simple, sufficiently sized, and was clean. The breakfast spread is not much, but enough to get us going in the morning.
As an old and loyal costumer , I feel lots of changes with the services especially front desk team performance. Before pandemic, all front desk staffs fill with friendly and warm attitude toward guests , but unfortunately after 1 year closing all those front desk staffs are gone and replaced with arrogant and unfriendly staffs. My kid accidentally made a hot chocolate from coffee machine and one of front desk staff ( Mr. Wang Wei ) told me with angry tone and face “ Could you tell your son that you have to pay first before he could make that hot chocolate ?” And could you ask your kid to move away from that coffee machine before you make payment ?” 🙄 Well, I think next time hotel should put price list beside that coffee machine so guests will understand. And, FIY if I can afford S$300 a night it means, I can afford S$ 1 for a cup of hot chocolate, relax ..nothing to worry about. Second, as a platinum member usually IHG hotel staffs will “ TRY” to give me the earliest check in .. I SAID TRY NOT HAVE TO .. but this Mr Wang Wei said “Well even though you’re an elite member .. we CAN NOT do anything!” And another thing .. SQ suddenly rescheduled my flight , so I have to cancelled my last day booking. I asked Mr. Wang Wei.. “ Is it possible if this hotel not charged for my last night booking because my flight was rescheduled? And his answer.. “CAN NOT!” 😐 (CAN NOT .. this 2 words seems to be his favourite words.) If I’m an owner of this hotel .. I will teach my team to say “ WE TRY OUR BEST ..” instead of “ WE CAN NOT ..” (All those matters happened when I’m check in.) Despite of those problem above, this hotel actually located at excellent area. Apple store is located exactly in front of this hotel. Al Fallah mosque located exactly behind this hotel. This hotel is surrounded by lots of eateries and shopping malls. There’s a bus no 36 which is directly go to Changi airport .This but stop located not far by this hotel ( 3 minutes walking ). There are 2 MRT stops as well near this hotel — MRT SOMERSET and ORCHARD which is can be reach 10 minutes by walking. ( both around 300 metres) They provide a widespread breakfast which is good because it’s free of charge.…
Early July we’ve stayed at this hotel on level 9, the room was impressive as the housekeeper was such a nice lady who really cleaned our room thoroughly, Back to Sg a month later and assigned to level 10th’s room was such a hell, the room’s carpet was so smelly and all the amenities were dated, including the pillows which were heavy used and smelly and worn towels.
Shockingly overpriced budget university lodging standard. No pool, limited gym without aircon. Rooms small but clean. Breakfast is poor quality food. The only 1 star positive is that the location is good. No rewards points for company 3rd party bookings. Very poor experience for a 28 night stay.
The Holiday Inn Express Orchard Gateway is a great place to stay in a prime location. I chose this hotel because of their sustainability efforts and free breakfast! Would highly recommend this to friends and other business travelers! The breakfast is buffet style (incredibly good - kudos to the chef!) and with my status at IHG I received a bonus welcome drink!
The frontdesk Chester, Mika and also the manager Ms. Su so helpful The room is very good for me The meals so tasty I will come back in Singapore soon with my family and I will stay in Holiday Inn Express again I give 5 stars for the services overall.
