The Westin Singapore garners accolades for its prime location, appealing to both business and leisure guests due to its accessibility. Guests have called out the hotel's exceptional service and hospitality, which, along with the luxurious ambiance, ensures a memorable stay. While the infinity pool and dining options receive praise for enhancing the guest experience, opinions on value are mixed, with some finding the pricing steep despite the quality offered. Rooms are generally appreciated for their space, cleanliness, and views, although there have been occasional concerns regarding room readiness.

The Westin Singapore is extremely well managed, with a high quality of customer service and comfortable rooms that make me feel I'm home. This is now my property of choice when I visit Singapore.

This property delivers excellent customer service at all levels. When something falls shorts of expectations, they followed up and followed through. Case in point: James, the GM, emailed me personally that he'd like to meet with me at my return stay at the Westin Singapore, and he did! Even though I didn't return to the Westin Singapore until a year later, James still remembered. At my next (this September) stay at the Westin Singapore, James did exactly just that -- he showed up when I checked in and greeted me personally. No other GM has ever done that to me during check in; not even with my status as an Ambassador Elite guest. Only the Westin Singapore does this. Miguel, the Director of Rooms, is also very courteous and an excellent listener. He also follows through and is always a pleasure to talk with.

The high standards set by James, Miguel, and their team are reflected in the quality of service delivered by their staff members. There are staff members here that are truly deserving of special recognition. Gayathri is one of them -- she is so calm, professional, and makes me feel so valued because she remembers me as a returning guest. Afiq Farhan is also a star -- really enjoyed speaking with him at the Front Desk.

I also have to give a special shoutout and kudos to Cora Reyes and Claris at the Club Lounge. Claris and Cora both provided excellent service at the Club Lounge that exceeded my expectations; I was just amazed by the degree of personalized service that they provided during this stay in September. Both Cora and Claris set the gold standard for delivering customer service at the Club Lounge: service that is anticipatory and welcoming.

The rooms at the Westin Singapore are spacious. This time, I was upgraded to a one-bedroom suite which was very large, but even the corner rooms I stayed in before were all so big, especially in comparison to other 5-star hotels in Singapore. The ceilings are high and the rooms are well partitioned and insulated; traffic/outside noise is almost silent. The mattress/bed is so comfortable, and the general ambience of the room makes me so relaxed. Another added benefit: little wait time for an elevator.

Anyone with a Bonvoy Elite status should be rest assured that the Westin Singapore delivers all of the promised benefits and guarantees for their status. No need to haggle for late checkout if your status (Platinum/above) qualifies you for a late checkout; it's even proactively offered. No need to ask for a room upgrade either because during all of my stays here, I had been proactively upgraded with no need to ask; this happened when I was a Titanium Elite and even more so that now I'm an Ambassador Elite. The Westin Singapore truly shines in Elite recognition.

The Westin Singapore is just amazing - 10/10 recommended!

My wife and I spent a week at the Westin over the New Year. The hotel was excellent - our room (King size bed, city views, 38th floor) was spacious with a very comfortable bed. The large bathroom had a bath, a large shower (rainfall and standard), and a toilet - well equipped with good products and bathrobes. Check-in and check-out was easy and friendly. We frequented the lobby bar quite a bit enjoying a large selection of gins and cocktails and the occasional lunch - a sophisticated space with views out to the bay (including cranes, cruise ships, and container ships). We enjoyed a couple of days around the pool, which had comfortable lounges and bar service (via a call to the room service facility). The location was excellent: a 10-minute walk to Marina Bay Sands, 5 minutes to the hawker centre at La Pau Sat (awesome), and 15 / 20 minutes to China Town / Boat Quay. Raffles was a 10-minute taxi away. In addition, the MRT (underground train service) was right outside the hotel and a 10-minute, 5-stop ride to Orchard Road.

Had my wedding dinner at Westin and was immensely impressed with the number of details and effort that was put in by Yan Hui, Steve and Balan.

From the day we signed our wedding package, Yan Hui was very prompt in her responses and was very patient with our requests. Always looking to accommodate our requests, she constantly reminded me and my partner for the deliverables so she can ensure our proposed plan will go in accordance. When we arrived in Westin, it took us less than 10mins from parking of car to entering hotel room as all were already prepared beforehand by Yan Hui and team. Checking in was seamless and as fuss free as it could get.

Steve was in charge of operations and running the show during our wedding and he went above and beyond to ensure our wedding a major success. Steve was running around instructing his team, and was always available to lend a helping hand and giving advice to us. Steve will even take the extra effort in coming to ensure my wife and I are well fed and each time he enters our resting area. Always behind my wife, he will ensure that her evening gown is always nice and tidy so she wont trip over it. All these, amongst others, emphasizes the detailed and dedication provided to us by Steve.

Lastly, we will also like to thank Balan from the security team as one of our guests lost her diamond pendant. Balan and team analysed every second of recorded CCTV footage and through his work, we managed to retrieve it.

Overall, we were deeply impressed and will like to express our gratitude to Yan Hui, Steve and Balan going above and beyond in making our wedding and overall stay at Westin where we were treated almost like royalty.

I really wanted to love this hotel but I didn't and wouldn't recommend staying here. It’s supposed to be a 5 star hotel…it doesn’t live up to this I’m afraid.

The hotel is modern and does have fantastic views with a nice fitness facility. The reception lobby is probably the highlight with a grand piano and floor to ceiling windows.

What lets this hotel down is that the service is a bit hit and miss. We arrived around 9pm and there was no one on the door to help with our luggage (remember this is supposed to be a 5 star hotel). We had to unload luggage and take it in where a flustered security guard pointed us to an elevator - the building is shared and not only a hotel.

When we arrived in the hotel lobby on the 30th floor, the reception staff were very friendly but neglected to tell us that our room floor had an issue. The stench of durian. They had machines to try and remove the smell but the whole corridor smelt. Durian (a pungent fruit) in Singapore is banned on their public transport because the smell is overwhelming. The hotel had put up signs that advised durians are banned on their premises. They really should have told us and moved us to a different level.

The room was okay but felt more like a 3 star at most and despite being new it felt quite dated. The desk chair in our room should have been thrown away; the armrests were broken while the leather seat was cracked and peeling.

If you work nearby then maybe stay if you want the convenience. Thankfully we only stayed one night as we were transiting through. As a Marriot Bonvoy member I wouldn’t stay here again sadly.

Hello Jonathan, I would like to express my apologies for the disappointing stay you had with us, and that much as you wanted to, you didn't love your stay. As you can see from other reviews this kind of experience is not the norm and for this I would like to sincerely apologize. We are in the business of exceeding guest expectations consistently, not falling short. So please be assured your feedback is taken seriously and improvements will be made. I am sorry that upon arrival our team must have been assisting other guests and not there to assist you, unacceptable for a hotel at our level. We have checked our records and sadly we don't have any feedback on record for the durian smell you encountered. Whilst this can be common in Asia, we rarely face this issue, so I was disappointed to hear this. If we were aware of this, we wouldn't have sold the room, and if this was unknown to us we would have moved you to a different room for sure. My apologies your desk chair was of poor quality. These chairs are end of life and are the last remaining part of our recent rooms upgrade. Whilst of little comfort to you now, I can share that an order has been placed for replacement Herman Miller chairs in all 305 guest rooms and we expect delivery of these within the next 8 weeks. Jonathan, whilst likely far from your mind at this stage, I would sincerely appreciate the opportunity to welcome you back for another experience. I am confident the issues you describe are isolated cases and not the norm. I do hope that we may have that opportunity one day. Regards, James

The Westin Singapore, belongs to the Marriott portfolio of hotels and is only a 5 minute walk to the nearest MRT station, making it easily accessible and convenient.

The hotel occupies levels 32 to 46 of the commercial development known as Asia Tower 2. The hotel features a number of restaurants such as Cook & Brew, The Kitchen Table and more, a Spa, fitness centre, outdoor infinity pool with a beautiful terrace on level 35 and more. The hotel also provides Yoga classes and organises a 5k or 10k run in a nearby park (depending on how many people sign up and their running capability).

There are 305 rooms, 16 of which are Suites. I had booked a standard King room, but being an Ambassador elite member of Marriott Bonvoy, I was upgraded to Club Level Guest Room which is also located on a higher floor. This room is also described as an Execute Room. You can see the hotel and all the facilities on YouTube at Love Flying and Hotels. Being an elite member, I had access to the Club Lounge located on Level 35 where I can enjoy complimentary food and beverages, including alcohol – see YouTube for details.

At Check In, I also had an option of a welcome amenity – 1,000 points or the local amenity (which at the time was spicy nuts).

Elite members and certain room types will also receive complimentary pressing of 3 garments per stay.

The staff at the execute lounge were amazing. A very special mention needs to go to Casey, Gabriel, Dylon, Rosolie and Gerwyn.

I also was very impressed with Nitchita and Eddie from the Spa who really took their time in showing me the facilities and explaining to me what services were offered.

I also enjoyed drinking at the lobby bar and a huge thank you to Nui for a great service and hospitality! I went there the following night too thanks to her amazing service!

Overall, I felt the hotel had more of a business vibe and this makes sense due to its central location and nearby transport links. I still enjoyed it though and because it is more of a business hotel, you get to enjoy more of the facilities such as the pool and fitness centre almost to yourself!

Try it and let me know your experience!

The Westin is located in the business district. The hotel starts at L32 of the building it’s in and goes up to L46. The pool is on L35 and has a beautiful infinity pool.
The rooms are very spacious with big bathrooms and a look and feel that you’d expect for the price you pay. It’s worth it though. We had breakfast included which is a great way to start the day.
More importantly, it’s a short walk to the Marina Bay Area, Gardens by the Bay which includes the trees (light show at night), plus Cloud Forest and Flower Garden domes which are amazing and the best part is that Boon Tat St and Lau Pa Sat are around the corner!! This is where you get to eat amazing food!! If street food isn’t your thing, there are a number of restaurants and bars that you can eat at instead. But back to the hotel, we really enjoyed our stay! We’ve stayed on Sentosa island before and the location of the Westin was a lot more convenient for us.
Note - Sentosa is undergoing some changes at the moment and there was a lot of construction and closed off areas.

I arrived early am but there was no concierge. The room I was allocated reeked of smoke and the carpet was filthy but the hotel said it was full and could not change until the next day. My next room was a lot better and actually had a view. I booked via Expedia and formed the view that Expedia clients got the dregs. The minibar operates in a way that charges you 15 seconds after removing an item from its place. This is stupid and on checking out I had to get the bill reduced to what I actually consumed. The gym is basic to say the least. Spa prices were crazy and far above local spas. Breakfast is good and the bedding delightful. Water takes a long time to warm up and the toilet has a clear glass door.

Hello K6460HYrichardp, We were extremely disappointed to receive your feedback about your stay at The Westin Singapore as we do work hard to ensure our guests have positive experiences. I would like to extend my apologies for the bedroom carpet odor, upon reviewing your reservation I can see that you were in one of the guest rooms that has recently had a new carpet installed. In a few isolated cases has resulted in an odor from the underlay the contractor used which I can confirm has since been rectified. I am pleased to hear that we were able to move you to a different room where you were more comfortable. I am sorry that you felt the automated mini bar system was ineffective, we ordinarily receive positive feedback as it allows for accurate billing when items are removed. The Heavenly Spa pricing is in line with, and in some cases below that of other 5 star hotels in Singapore, however, we will continue to benchmark and re-evaluate this. On a more positive note, I am pleased to hear that you enjoyed our breakfast and our famous Westin Heavenly beds. I do hope that we may have the opportunity to welcome you back again in the future for a better experience and if this were to be the case, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me directly at james.walkden@westin.com. Our 32nd wedding anniversary trip was VERY special due to the Westin Singapore!! The Front Desk staff (Fiona), Concierge team (Ben), Club Lounge (Casey) and GM (James) really made us feel at home and special throughout our 7-day stay. My wife & I are both Titanium Platinum Bonvoy members and we felt this status due to level of service and attention to detail from the ENTIRE Westin team.
The hotel views are amazing. We stayed on the 44th floor and could see both the water & city. Location is perfect near multiple MRT lines and walking access to several iconic Singapore sites such as the Merlion Park (15 minutes), Chinatown (15 minutes) and there is a great hawker within 5 minutes from the hotel.
We requested an early check-in (9:30am) which was seamless. They offered us access to the Club Lounge for breakfast the morning we arrived. The Lounge breakfast was outstanding every morning. Clearly one of the highlights of our trip. Everyone at the Lounge exceeded our expectations. They provided great service and had helpful sightseeing tips. The chef was spot on with his poached eggs!
The room was spotless - which is unusual in today's hotel industry. Even at the higher end hotels, I usually get bad allergy issues from dust, but this room was immaculate. The housekeeping staff was prompt with any requests for extra towels, soap, ice, etc. The heavenly bed was a sanctuary after walking over 10,000 steps each day. In addition, the shower pressure and temperature control helped us wind down from the day.
We are looking forward to our next trip back to the Westin in Singapore.

Stellar service. This hotel went above and beyond to make our almost two week stay comfortable by paying attention to all the minor details consistently. Despite a couple of small snaffus in the beginning I still give them a 5 Star rating, because as they made up for it with attention to detail, bery helpful and friendly demeanor of staff, Scrumptious breakfast to get our day started and returning to a clean and welcoming room daily without fail!! as parents travelling with two young kids, we felt cared for and would definitely stay here again :)

I had recently visited Seasonal Tastes at Westin Singapore to have a early Father's Day dinner. There was large range of food options, suitable for all ages. It was really interesting to see thai food like boat noodle, Pad Thai and tom yum soup. The dessert counter was very eye catching, my family and I were very amazed by the dessert options. Other than food, the service there was really great too, the staffs Myra, Jason and Bryan had provided amazing service. They were very attentive and were always there to clear our plates on time, refill our water glasses, and provide extra serviettes. One of the staff also went the extra mile to provide us with finger bowls to rinse our hands. To sum up, the restaurant, the food and service had made the dinner a wonderful one. Thank you Seasonal Tastes, Westin Singapore!

If you are asking how large the pool is, I cannot give you the dimensions. Staff may be better to answer this. But it is very scenic as it is on the higher floor about 23 if not mistaken. Many lounge chairs and open area for sitting in the shade also. I witnessed many families enjoying the pool.
