First return to Singapore since Covid19. I've always enjoyed my stay here but because a friend extended her hospitality to stay with her, I booked only one night due to a very early arrival. Room was clean and comfortable as usual and friendly staff.

Me & my family have booked a total of 9 rooms for a 3 days 2 nights staycation 8 months ago for my nephew wedding on the 25th June 23. On the day of my check in on the 24th June we are welcome with your front office staff by the name of Dylan. He is very friendly & accommodating. He’s also very helpful & handle our checking process very smoothly. All our request was extended and he handle it professionally. Another 2 of the staff that I would like to specially mention is Dwika & Zack who work in the midnight shift. They too are very friendly and they even took the extra miles to allow us to park the bridal car and I of my family members car. Not to forget Rasz,Rina, Ina & the housekeeping staff who cleaned our room during our 3 days stay. I must say even though this is just a budget hotel but the service level your staff rendered is a 5 star level. All my family members also mention about the service they received by your staff. This stay is definitely a memorable 1 and will definitely not our last.

This hotel is located outside the city center but close to public transport (which is great in Singapore) and you can get to the both city and the airport in approximately 30 minutes. Room as always in Ibis budget is small but has everything you need. The bed is comfortable so you can have a nice rest. The staff was very friendly and helpful. There are some restaurants nearby, but I didn’t try them.

Dear Maciek, We are happy to hear that you had enjoyed your stay with us. Our hotel indeed allows for easy access to city center and airport via Singapore's world class public transport system. Bus 33 and 154 right at our hotel goes to Dakota and Paya Lebar MRT stations respectively. Thank you for highlighting our comfortable beds and the warm service from our staffs. We look forward to welcoming you back soon! Warm Regards, Roland Guest Experience Executive

We are a French family of 3 (mum, dad and our 13 year old daughter), we stayed in Singapore for 3 days and what happened during our stay at the hotel, Ibis Budget Joo Chiat is simply shocking. We checked in on 19th February at the hotel, being a loyal Accor client believing all their hotels are family friendly, safe and clean, and despite this outlet being a budget one, we would have expected something else, that's an understatement! Upon checking in i was a little surprise the lady at reception held on our daughter's passport for much longer than needed, but we were tired so we went to our rooms as soon as all the admin was settled. We had booked 2 rooms for our family. The hotel did not allocate 2 rooms next to one another but on different floors, one double room , and one with twin beds room. Our daughter felt uncomfortable being on her own, therefore my wife decided to sleep in our daughter's bedroom rather than in our room. You can imagine my wife's horror and distress when at 3minutes past midnight, the phone rang in the bedroom where my daughter was supposed to be in, on her own, with a male asking: "This is reception, Is ...my daughter's full name... sleeping here, in this bedroom?" We knew no one on this hotel, and we do not call our daughter by her full name (First name and Family Name) as per her passport, the only people indeed who would have access to my daughter's full name would be employees of the hotel who have a copy of her passport and access to room allocations... My wife texted me but i was asleep, otherwise i would have called the police and we would have left on the spot...which we did the next morning for another hotel in the city! Needless to say, my wife did not sleep that night, as she was expecting someone to try and come into the room. I will not forget to mention how dirty the hotel was ( I lifted the bedside lamp, white dust everywhere on my clothes), the rooms with no windows smelled of humidity and dust, the towels and sheets were more than dubious, the beds were as hard as bricks. I am actually surprised that it passed Singapore hygiene and comfort standards? The constant noise, banging of doors and shouts in the corridor made it an even worse experience! The hotel manager never contacted us after we complained, we only received a few days later an email from their customer service rep, who implied that another hotel guest made that call, not the hotel receptionist. I am afraid, I have to disagree with the hotel statement that somehow a hotel guest knew, my daughter's full name as per her passport and room number. Clearly it was a staff from the hotel, who had full access to my daughter's passport and rooms allocation, who did this dubious call. Needless to say, we were horrified, this call was an absolute nightmare and a disgrace. Clearly this is not a place where a family can stay in confidence and for the safety of their kids, despite being in Singapore. Better don't ever go to this hotel...there are other suitable options in town.

Booked 2rooms for 4 people for two nights prior to Cruise & was pleasantly surprised with this hotel. Price was good especially with Accor membership. Rooms were of a good size, good bathrooms; comfortable beds & pillows & clean & very quiet. Two front desk staff very helpful. Good location with shops, restaurants, bars nearby but area not as clean as other parts of Singapore (not hotels fault). Only negative would be that towels need to be upgraded & soap for the sink needed. I would probably book here again.

I am staying in Room 222, shower hot water is cold for 2 days on off. I can't even bath properly. Air cond is fine and cold but the grill is very dusty. Overall the cleanliness is well maintained and phone is not working in the room. The receptionist is not helpful and offer for room move.

On arrival we were greeted by a moldy smell throughout the room. There is a window in the room, but the smell does not disappear even if you ventilate. The room appears clean apart from foreign female hair on the floor. The room has a nice size for a short stay, there are hangers and a shelf for your suitcase. Music noise can be heard from bars on the street, but it was not a problem with the windows closed. The AC in the room works fine. Unstable WiFi. Nice beds, duvets and pillows.

Our second stay at this hotel and wont be the last! We stayed 12 nights in room 405 (will be requesting this room every stay moving forward!). Nice big bright window, facing away from main road and very quiet. Location is perfect for us, Joo Chiat is a colourful, quieter area with lots of fantastic cafes, bars and restaurants. Housekeeping do a fantastic job cleaning the rooms and are really lovely - special mention to Jerome! Reception are wonderful and provide an excellent customer service experience . We were warmly greeted every time we walked in and out of the hotel, which was nice. Overall another great stay and highly recommend!

Needing a hotel near to Changi airport we booked here as we had a 5am taxi pick up organized for the next morning On arrival we were apparently upgraded to room 510 a family room but alas the room although clean was tired as in furniture was broken and old along with bath towels that were so small wouldn’t dry a baby plus no hand soap on the sink , I know the name “ Budget “ gives the clue but no soap or replacement toilet roll slaps hostel !!! To put the icing on our cake and stay we asked for an early morning call for 04.30am which sadly we are still waiting for , on checking out the night boy who booked the call just shrugged his shoulders and smiled when I asked about my wake up call Not really the service I was expecting but May think again about ACCOR budget properties plus being a member may research other levels of hotels Sorry not a fab day 4/10

Customer Service is great! The lady at the counter (overnight staff) was amazing. She guided me in getting the local app for taxi to save almost 50% of fare. From Changi Airport to the hotel is about 12min drive and I paid $30 SGD with Grab taxi but same going back with TADA I paid $16 SGD! Thanks for the lovely tip and also booking mea cab! Customer 5 star! Rooms are relatively small. We stayed for one night (Sunday) $145 SGD. i think it was but over pricing given the size of the room and bathroom! However perfect for just overnight stay or transit stay. Good for couple or solo not for family. With our two big suitcases room was jammed pack no place to walk. Location is good!
