The location is excellent being in Chinatown and close to lots of hawker centres, bars and restaurants. The room is small, but adequate for a short stay. There is some minor wear and tear that needs maintenance. Audible street noise if you're street-facing. Staff is...More

Just stayed here for one night and was ok. Quite small but clean and friendly staff. Aircon seemed to be broken Though Since it did not cool very much. Location is Great in Chinatown with enough places to get some food.
Chinatown is a classic combination of colourful sights, enticing smells, and sometimes startling sounds. The precinct is unique, however, in its blending of religions and cultures. A Hindu temple, an Islamic mosque, and a Chinese Buddhist temple sit almost side by side. This sense of cultural harmony continues as you venture just outside of Chinatown to the nightlife areas of Club Street and Duxton Hill.
There you’ll mingle with Singapore’s multicultural residents at the modern bars and restaurants dotting the bustling streets. An afternoon in and around Chinatown will leave you culturally enlightened, well fed, and loaded with souvenirs. In the evening, reward yourself with a well-deserved cocktail as the locals come out to play.

Hi. Cots are available free of charge. However we found the rooms smaller than usual and a cot makes the movable space even more cramped. This means that if you have luggage to store as well, it becomes quite uncomfortable to move around. So make sure you ask for the squire foot area of the relevant room since as stated on my original review the photos do make the rooms look bigger then they really are
Having said that Hotel Mono does have some good positives as well, its close to Chinatown and the MRT and is clean
Good luck with your choice. Best regards
Hi Teresa, there's a tinted glass door between bedroom and bathroom but sneaking in and out is possible. The transparent door is the one between the shower and the toilet, and no curtain. Hope this helps.
